Last night, members of Blood Bike Leinster had the pleasure of attending the retirement celebration of a truly special lady, Trish the Queen of Easytrip.

On behalf of everyone at Blood Bike Leinster, we would like to sincerely thank Trish for the invitation and, more importantly, for the friendship, support, and kindness she has shown us over the past nine years.

To many people, Trish may have been the person who helped sort out toll accounts and answered questions at the end of the phone. To us, she became much more than that. Over the years, we got to know Trish personally and she became a valued friend of Blood Bike Leinster. Her warmth, generosity, and willingness to help were second to none. No matter what was needed, nothing was ever too much trouble, and she always greeted everyone with a smile and a genuine willingness to assist.

We will certainly miss the many coffee mornings and chats at the Easytrip offices. Trish was always the person you could turn to for help, advice, or guidance, and she carried out everything she did with a huge heart and a genuine care for others.

We would also like to thank all the wonderful staff at Easytrip for making us feel so welcome over the years and for a fantastic evening celebrating Trish's retirement.

While one chapter closes, another exciting chapter begins. Trish, we wish you every happiness, good health, and countless wonderful memories in your retirement. You have more than earned the opportunity to enjoy every minute of it.

Bus Lanes excemptions for registered Blood Bike vehicles and motorcycles.

Due to the high volume of direct messages we’ve received from volunteers and members of the public about the use of bus lanes, it hasn’t been possible to reply to everyone individually.

To help clarify matters, we’ve issued a statement outlining how bus lane exemptions apply to Blood Bike vehicles and motorcycles, and how this may affect volunteers using their own private vehicles.

We hope this clears up the questions raised. If there’s anything we haven’t covered, please feel free to message us and we’ll do our best to get back to you. As we are all volunteers, response times may vary and delays are sometimes unavoidable.

This morning we joined the Gardai and RSA to deliver the Bank Holiday Road Safety Appeal.

With the weather improving and evenings getting longer, there will be an increased number of road users on the move.

There is a particular focus on motorcyclists this weekend - who will also take advantage of brighter, longer days and improved road conditions.
