Elite Living Nutrition Laura Warren is a Multi-Award Winning Health & Nutrition Professional with an infectious passion for health, fitness and nutrition.

She is an Accredited Menopause Educator and specialises in Menopause, Hormones & Weight Loss. She has been involved in the health and beauty industry for fifteen years and she believes the two go hand in hand. Laura says that when it comes to your health you deserve better answers than you’ll find with an online search. You need information you can trust, that will answer your questions, ease your

concerns and protect your health. There is plenty of free information online but a lot of it should not be trusted and is based on yo-yo dieting which can ruin bodies and lives. Laura’s aim is to empower people all over the world to really improve their health. And that, she believes, is a marathon, not a sprint.

“Real long-term health can’t be found in a fat burning regime,” she says. “Nobody can outrun a bad diet!”

Laura’s philosophy is that beauty begins within. “Men and women deserve to feel their best and be their best,” says Laura, who is the winner of the Global Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Awards 2020, and has been named the Health & Nutrition Influencer of the Year (Ireland). Health and beauty have driven Laura’s career since 2005, when she graduated with ITEC and CIBTAC qualifications, having specialised in beauty therapy and skincare. Laura is a graduate in Health & Nutrition Coaching and Sports Nutrition for Weight Control and Performance. She has an advanced BTEC Diploma with the Irish Institute of Nutrition and Health and is a member of The Nutrition Society, the Association of Health Care Journalists and the prestigious Harvard Health Medical School, which has more than 11,000 doctors and medical researchers, including nutrition professors, on its register. Laura is a former Miss Irish Sun. She has shared photo sessions with models from some of the world’s biggest agencies and featured in magazine shoots with several of them. Cruising around the Wexford coast today, and it’s bringing back the loveliest childhood memories of those Sunday spins our Mam and Dad used to take us on, always treating us to a 99 on the way. 🍦✨ It’s the simple things in life that give us everlasting memories.

🎈Happy Birthday to my incredible sister, Fiona! You truly do it all—you are the most amazing daughter, a phenomenal mother, a rock-strong sister, and my absolute best friend.

From the days when I used to steal your clothes and you’d chase me all around Ferrybank, to the times you made sure nobody ever messed with me—oh no, big sister would always be out and have my back, just like I will always have yours.

Thank you for always being the one I can turn to for a deep chat or a massive laugh. You are as beautiful inside as you are on the outside. I wish you a lifetime more of fun, good health, happiness, and lots more mischief with me! I love you more than words can say!

See ya soon 🎈🎈🍾❤️

Melanoma skin cancer is on the increase in Ireland. Uplift member Laura is campaigning to ban sunbeds, following other countries like Australia or Brazil. If you agree that sunbeds are dangerous and should be banned, sign here: https://tinyurl.com/mr33w57j

🎈Great news everyone! 🙏 My liver tumour remains benign and stable—I am officially still cancer-free!
To be honest, I am completely exhausted now; the relief takes a lot out of you. They will keep monitoring me as usual for my ongoing recovery, but everything is perfect, thank God. I know my little mamma is looking after me from above. 🎈
I am going to sleep so well tonight. 🦋❤️ Thank you all for the lovely blessings and endless support! 💖

Scanxiety Day. 🤍
Today is my 3-month scan to make sure everything is stable. I feel incredibly blessed to have the best medical team in the world in my corner.
I’m meeting with the lovely Professor Courtney today, who keeps a close eye on the 6.6cm benign tumour on my liver. Because of my history with melanoma, keeping a constant eye on it is just part of the routine now.
All you can do is smile, live life to the full, and respect your body with a healthy, balanced lifestyle. I am 100% certain that my past cancer grew slowly—and was successfully removed—because I prioritize my health and nutrition. ✨

💪I survived Stage 1b Melanoma Cancer and multiple tumours. Now, I’m fighting to ban commercial sunbeds in Ireland. 🛑👇

When I was younger, I was told to use sunbeds to get a "base tan" and even advised by beauty therapists that it would clear up my acne. I wore inadequate protection, believing I was safe.
That reckless exposure nearly cost me my life.

My melanoma was just about to invade deeper into my skin on my left breast, threatening my vital organs and lymph nodes. I underwent two surgeries to remove it. But the battle didn't end there. Over the next two years, I faced multiple tumours, including a 3.3cm suspected follicular cancer in my throat—requiring half my thyroid to be removed by Dr. Paul Lennon—and a 3cm suspected liposarcoma tumour in my forearm.

Thanks to the skill of Ireland’s top surgeons, I am cancer-free today. But these photos are a stark warning of a completely preventable tragedy.

Melanoma is one of the deadliest cancers, and its incidence is rising rapidly in Ireland. Yet, our government is lagging behind. Countries like Australia and Brazil banned commercial sunbeds years ago. Meanwhile, in Ireland, new salons pop up every week. They are completely unpoliced. Anyone can walk off the street and tan for as long as they want. Mothers are even bringing young children into waiting areas, exposing developing bodies to traveling UVA and UVB rays.
Ireland was the first country in Europe to bravely introduce the smoking ban. Our government can legislate when they want to. So why are they hiding behind Europe now? Why are we prioritising industry profits over public health?

WE ARE MAKING PROGRESS, BUT THE FIGHT ISN'T OVER:
I previously brought this fight to the Dáil Éireann Health Committee. The Minister for Health responded to parliamentary questions and officially agreed that more needs to be done in Ireland regarding the dangers of sunbeds.
I have the momentum, and we are currently at 1,706 of our 2,000 signature goal. I need your help to push this over the line so we can force immediate action- a full commercial ban.
