Another fun filled week here at the service!
Max enjoyed his fitness class and worked on a jigsaw puzzle afterwards. Shane met a friend for lunch, while some of the group enjoyed a lovely sing-along at Nenagh Arts Centre.
Siún, Anna and Ashleigh enjoyed feeding the ducks and taking a lovely walk at Two Mile Gate. Damien took the bus to Nenagh, Ashleigh enjoyed lunch out, and Ailis cooked a delicious stir fry and enjoyed some treats at her favourite cafes. See you all next week!

Belated happy birthday to Siún, who celebrated her birthday while the service was closed for the holidays! We marked the occasion with some cake this week. 🎂
We had a lovely day out cycling the Greenway, followed by a fun pottery class. 🚲🏺
Cian enjoyed a pizza in Ponte Vecchio, while Ailis went horse riding and got to meet some of the Munster team at their training day in Clarisford Park. 🐎🏉
Ross and Damien headed to Mayo for a night, exploring around Castlebar and hoping to catch a glimpse of the Sam Maguire Cup.

From 17th–24th September, Ross will be taking on a 7km walk every day for 7 days to raise money for the Children’s Health Foundation.
The money raised will help fund vital medical equipment and essential support services for sick children and their families. Every donation, no matter how big or small, can make a real difference. 💙

We had a fantastic day out in Dublin at Explorium, where everyone enjoyed exploring the world of science and adventure. The day was rounded off with a lovely walk by the seaside.
Shane and Damien have been hard at work building a flower bench for the garden, while Shane also enjoyed a local walk.
Ailis took part in the interview process to help recruit new staff members.
Martin has been keeping busy with a trip to the Bridgetown Show, a pet farm and enjoyed exploring by train.
Max and Dessie had a great time bowling, Anna and Siún went to the wooden spoon, chocolate cake was made while Jamie enjoyed a visit to his local barber for a fresh haircut. We've also included a few more photos from last week's barbecue.
We are on our holidays for the next two weeks. We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday, and we look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Another epic week was enjoyed by everyone!
Dessie enjoyed a cup of tea at The Wooden Spoon and some relaxing sensory time in both Shannon and at Jamie's house.
Max kept the flowers well watered and spent time working on puzzles. Anna enjoyed a lovely coffee in the park, while David tried his luck spinning the wheel in Tesco and won a voucher! Siún also enjoyed a trip to SuperValu to pick up her favourite magazines.
Preparations for our Summer Barbecue were in full swing throughout the week, Ross baked a mouth-watering New York cheesecake, Ashleigh made delicious cake pops that left everyone wanting more, and Siún and Jamie collected all the food supplies we needed. Damien, Anna, and Cian prepared a selection of fresh salads, helping to make sure everything was ready for the big day.
The Summer Barbecue was a fantastic success, with plenty of delicious food, dancing, laughter, and fun enjoyed by everyone. It was a fantastic team effort, with everyone playing their part in making the day such a wonderful success.
Well done to everyone involved!

What a jam-packed week we've had! ☀️
Cian and Martin enjoyed the Ballina GAA Community Coffee Morning, where they tucked into some delicious treats and loved catching up with their local community.
Shane and Damien had a fantastic day at a sports day in Shannon, making the most of the activities and the glorious weather. David was busy designing and making a bench chair for the garden.
Anna and Siún cooled down with ice cream at Riverside Park, while Jamie soaked up the sunshine with trips to Croom and Cratloe, including a stop at his favourite coffee spot, The Wooden Spoon.
Ailis enjoyed a visit to Holy Island, learning about its fascinating history and capturing the day through her camera lens. Siún had great fun in the sensory/messy play room.
Meanwhile, Martin had an action-packed week with trips to Emerald Park and Emo! To top it all off, some of the gang partied into the wee hours at last night's Summer Social.
What a wonderful week. ☀️

What a glorious week of sunshine! We've been savouring every little bit of it.
Jamie and Cian enjoyed a trip to Craggaunowen, followed by a lovely picnic. Ailis had a wonderful day visiting St. Cronan's Church and taking photographs in Mountshannon.
Anna, Max, and Dessie also made the most of the beautiful weather with a picnic and a relaxing drink in Costa Coffee. Max also spent some time enjoying a jigsaw puzzle.
Ross's radio show was aired over the loudspeakers during the Brian Boru Festival, so he and his friend Helen made sure to head out and listen together.
Another lovely week has passed, and we're looking forward to another one ahead. Enjoy the sunshine! ☀️

A very happy birthday to Anna! 🎉 As always, she has a smile for everyone. We hope you have the very best day, Anna!
Ashleigh enjoyed a relaxing afternoon chilling out at the park while Jamie was busy shopping for shoes in the Crescent.
Damien worked hard volunteering at Synergy in Broadford.
David had a lovely day visiting the farmers market in Limerick before taking a scenic cruise in Killaloe.
Siún was delighted to watch Toy Story 5 at the cinema. Dessie enjoyed exploring the different textures and sensations of a new sensory toy and a trip to a local cafe. Martin kept active by cycling the Greenway, visiting an aquarium, and heading out with the walking group. Shane, Cian, and Anna enjoyed a picnic together before working it off with a game of basketball afterwards.
It has been a wholesome week full of fun.
We hope everyone has a fantastic time at the Brian Boru Festival this weekend!

What a week of sunshine, and we definitely made the most of it!
Siún enjoyed her sensory time and loved watching all the activity around the town.
Shane and Martin enjoyed spending time out in the garden playing sports. Damien and Shane had two picnics during the week after attending their course in Ennis.
Ailís enjoyed a trip on the lake with Killaloe River Cruises and taking pictures.
Anna enjoyed a lovely walk followed by a cup of tea afterwards.
Dessie relaxed in the sensory room in Shannon and Ross is rocking his new haircut and colour and proudly showed it off during his recent trip to Killarney. Have a lovely weekend.
