What else would you add to the list girls?

A little reminder to myself and you that looking after ourselves doesn’t always need to involve buying something, tracking something, optimising something or adding another “wellness” habit to the list.

So much of what supports our health is actually quite ordinary.

Eating well. Moving our bodies. Getting outside. Sleeping. Having fun. Feeling connected. Spending time with people we love. Getting support when we need it. And occasionally eating the chocolate just because we want the chocolate.

These are the foundations I keep coming back to both personally and professionally.

Our Female health doesn’t have to become another thing we’re trying to be perfect at.

What else would you add? 🫶

Lymphatic massage - the things you deserve to know.
-> Swipe and send / tag one of your wellness girlies.

The reasons you should have lympahtic massage, along with the bu****it you need to know about

It’s not all sculpting, detoxing and snatching girls! Be mindful and have it for the right reason. If you get snatched.. that’s a bonus 🫶

I think women deserve better health advice.

For so long, we’ve been told to focus on the outcome.

✨ Lose weight.
✨ Get more energy.
✨ Sleep better.
✨ Reduce symptoms.

But we rarely get taught how the body actually works.

I don’t think most women need more willpower.

I think we need a better map.

A map that helps us understand why we feel the way we do.

For me, that map includes:

⭐️ Blood sugar stability—not just calories.

⭐️ Eating enough protein to support hormones, muscle and recovery.

⭐️ Fibre—not just for digestion, but for gut health, blood sugar and hormone metabolism.

⭐️ Building muscle—not chasing smaller bodies.

⭐️ Sleep as a biological necessity, not a luxury.

⭐️ Understanding the nervous system and how chronic stress changes physiology.

⭐️ Looking after our gut before jumping to another supplement.

⭐️ Supporting inflammation instead of normalising feeling inflamed.

⭐️ Understanding the role of hormones—but also recognising they don’t work in isolation.

⭐️ Recovery, rest and regulation as part of health, not something we “earn” once everything else is done.

This is the conversation I wish more women were having. Because health isn’t always only about trying harder.

It’s about understanding your body well enough to work with it instead of constantly fighting against it.

Remembering your body is physically mentally and emotionally connected. Working both on your nervous system and your nutrition / lifestyle can give that deeper support.

I used to think skipping breakfast was grand.

A cup of tea and off I went.

Then I’d spend the morning wondering why I was:

• hungry
• distracted
• craving sugar
• thinking about lunch by 10:30am

One of the biggest things I’ve changed my mind about since studying nutrition is -> breakfast.

Not because breakfast is magical.

But because so many women are trying to get through busy mornings on caffeine alone.

And then blaming themselves when energy crashes, cravings kick in or patience disappears by lunchtime.

This isn’t about eating perfectly.

It’s about giving your body some fuel before asking it to run a marathon of emails, school runs, work, family life and mental load.

Health doesn’t need to be complicated.

Sometimes the answer really is:

🍳 Eat a breakfast. And make it one that has protein fat and fibre as often as possible to help your mood, energy, blood sugars / hormones and overall appetite habits for the day.

✨Swipe to see what I think about Gigi Supplements new prenatal supplement. . .

Far fewer women know what they’re actually looking for when they turn the packet around on a supplement.

👀 The things that stand out to me with Gigi ⬇️

✔️ Methylfolate
(the active form of folate)

✔️ Choline
(which deserves far more attention in pregnancy conversations)

✔️ Vitamin D
(for immune, mood and pregnancy support)

✔️ Iodine
(for healthy thyroid function and baby’s development)

✔️ Selenium & Zinc
(two nutrients many women don’t realise are so important before and during pregnancy)

✔️ Active B Vitamins
(to support energy production and nervous system function

💡 The bigger message?

A prenatal isn’t just something you start taking when you see two lines on a pregnancy test.

The months before conception matter too. This is why I love nutritional therapy for that pro active approach!! 👏

Because fertility, pregnancy and baby development don’t start on day one of pregnancy.

They start long before that.

I love this brand, and love their supplements. Highly recommend 👏

Myself and the bump 🤰finally got to train with the lovely who developed the popular RLD technique. A course Iv been trying to do for the last two years to support my own health & my clients.

Not only did I learn loads about Sally & her research on her Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage, I also received some treatments & hang out with 20+ other practitioners from all over Ireland and the USA. Sharing, learning and connecting was priceless. 🫶

Sally developed RLD from first hand experience working with cancer patients and years of clinical practice. This innovative approach to reflexology has attracted, national and international awards, and widespread recognition so it’s very exciting to be able to add this into our list of services

While “regular” reflexology supports some of the lymphatic system, RLD works exclusively on the lymphatic system reflex points and targets the body that will work really well for our female clients with;

✔️Lymphoedema
✔️Cancer support
✔️Inflammation & Immune System
✔️Fluid balance / fluid retention
✔️Pre / Post Surgery healing
✔️Hormone / PMS support
✔️Conditions like Endometriosis
✔️Pain (arthritis, fibromyalgia etc)
✔️Immune related issues
✔️Chronic fatigue
✔️Sinus issues / congestion
I am really looking forward to adding these new techniques into our popular Face and Foot Reflexology treatments and seeing how our clients benefits.
