✨🪽 LOVE YOUR PAST SELF ✨🪽

I’m sharing something a little more personal today because I believe being real and honest about our own journey can inspire others to be kinder to themselves. 💛

I found this old photo of myself from 2012.
I know I look very different now, and I’m very aware that 14 years can change a person in many ways. My new hair helps too 💛✨
Never underestimate the power of loving yourself.

I was only 22, about to turn 23. I’m 37 now.
Looking at this photo, I wish I could sit beside the person I was then and tell myself how much life was going to change.

I had no idea what was ahead. I had no idea how much I would have to overcome, how much I would learn about myself, or how strong I would become. And yet, I kept going.

Today, I look back at myself with love rather than judgement.

I don’t wish I could change who I was. I wish I could hug myself and say: “You’re going to be okay.” ❤️‍🩹

I now understand that everything I experienced shaped my understanding of myself and of others.

That journey eventually led me to become a Holistic Therapist and to create a healing soul space where people can feel safe, supported and able to reconnect with themselves.
A space where you don’t have to pretend you’re okay.

A space where you can simply be. 🪽
Sometimes I think we spend so much time trying to become a better version of ourselves that we forget to love the versions of us who carried us through the difficult chapters.
So today, I choose to love my past self.
To honour myself.

To thank myself for getting me here.

Life is different for us all and can be very challenging at times, some of us handle challenges better that others so don’t pass judgements on situations you don’t understand or know what people are going through just be kind and think before you speak, 🗣️❤️

Ask yourself are my words kind are they helpful and constructive to this person, would I like someone saying that to me if the answer is no then be silent , sometimes we say things that don’t affect us but can cut someone else very deeply so just think 🤔 before you speak. 💯 , we are all fighting our own battles daily so be kind to yourself and others always ❤️🙏🏻

One of the most beautiful things you can do for yourself is simply be you. The most authentic version of yourself is already enough.
We can spend so much time trying to please others, trying to prove our worth, or believing we need certain things to become somebody. A fancy car, a big house, a degree, or money can all be wonderful additions to life, but they do not define your value.✨🪽

You are somebody right now. You are enough right now.✨🪽

The right people will love you for who you are, not for what you own or what you can provide. Kindness costs nothing, so spread it freely like confetti 🎉

My message is simple. Love yourself for the beautiful person you are. Everything you are facing, even the difficult moments, is shaping your growth and helping you become stronger.
