I was hoping to conduct a special Sound Bath this eve but the opportunity diminished as the bad weather front mooched in!

BUT - perhaps on this auspicious day you could spend some time performing your own ritual or celebration - as not only does the “Stuegeon” full moon his it’s maximum just before dawn tomorrow morning (5.18am) but this combines with a partial Lunar eclipse - this begins at circa 3.30am reaching its maximum at 5.12am.

This years Sturgeon moon brings great resilience, inner strength, and honoring your deep ancestral roots. It’s. a powerful time for personal growth, emotional release, and bold transformation.

However…. This coupled with a lunar eclipse acts as a powerful cosmic catalyst for sudden personal breakthroughs by magnifying hidden feelings, relationships, and subconscious patterns. This intense alignment forces you to confront and clear away lingering emotional baggage, toxic habits, and outdated attachments. Ultimately, this energy serves as a profound reset button, shattering comfort zones to clear the path for your next personal chapter.

Most people are familiar with the concept of “triggers”—cues that can activate feelings of danger, distress, or emotional instability, often connected to trauma or difficult past experiences. Certain sounds, smells, people, places, or situations can unexpectedly bring those feelings to the surface. If left unrecognized, triggers can have a profound impact on our wellbeing and daily lives.

Less commonly discussed are “glimmers”- the beautiful opposite of triggers. Glimmers are cues of safety, comfort, connection, and peace. They can be a familiar perfume, a favorite song, a photograph of someone we love, a special place, or even a cherished memory.

When life feels overwhelming, intentionally returning to these glimmers - remembering them, imagining them, or surrounding ourselves with them - can help soothe the nervous system and bring us back to a sense of calm and safety.

In a world filled with things that can unsettle us, may we also learn to recognize, cherish, and create more of the things that bring us peace.
