‘The Chemist’

We are so lucky to have a pharmacy in Louisburgh. Staunton’s pharmacy has been located at the old Market House and Court House building on ‘The Square’ in Louisburgh for 60 years!
Before that, Joe Staunton ran the pharmacy from Long Street in 1949.
We would love to hear your memories of Joe and Brigid, who originally opened the pharmacy in Louisburgh. Also, your stories of John and Brenda Staunton, and thank you to all the staff at ‘The Chemist’ who look after our community so well.

Another fine day in Louisburgh, and work continued across the road from Staunton’s Allcare Pharmacy, with the final touches being added to the “Feile Cottage”, (Michael’s Cottage).

Big shout out to LAMS-Louisburgh Area Men’s Shed for a job well done👏 (as always).
