As a Mum and a Craniosacral therapist with a background in Corporate, I know how heavy anxiety can feel!
In your chest, your thoughts, your whole body.
Life can be hard, and sure we’re not meant to carry it all on our own.
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, somatic way of helping the body settle; easing the nervous system, softening the tension we hold, and giving space for what words often can’t reach.
It’s not about fixing you, it’s about supporting you to come back to yourself.
There’s no shame in needing support.
You’re allowed to slow down, to be held, to feel safe again.
Let yourself breathe. Let yourself feel.
Craniosacral therapy can gently support a range of anxiety experiences, especially where the body is holding stress or overwhelm, including:
* Generalized Anxiety Disorder (constant worrying and feeling on edge)
* Social Anxiety Disorder (fear of judgment or social situations)
* Panic Disorder (panic attacks and sudden waves of fear)
* Separation Anxiety Disorder (difficulty being apart from loved ones)
* Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (anxiety linked to past trauma)
* Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (repetitive thoughts and behaviours driven by anxiety)
It’s especially helpful for the physical side of anxiety in acute situations as it helps by calming the nervous system, easing tension, and helping the body feel safe again.
Somato emotional release (often part of Upledger craniosacral work) helps by allowing the body to gently process and release stored stress or emotions that may be contributing to anxiety.
When we go through overwhelm, the body can “hold onto” those feelings, showing up as tension, restlessness, or a constant sense of unease.
This approach works through the body rather than just talking.
This may address acute issues, or old patterns that you have been holding onto for years.
