Not every result needs to be shared.

Before & after photos are a huge part of the beauty industry — and I completely understand why.

At Serene, however, client confidentiality has always been incredibly important to me.

I am very proud of the results I am seeing in my treatment room, but I will never ask a client to share their skin journey, photographs or personal experience for the purpose of marketing.

If a client chooses to share their experience themselves, I am always incredibly grateful. But it will always be their choice.

Sometimes the best results are the ones that simply stay between the client and therapist. 🤍

A little inspiration from a true legend 🤍

I’ve always admired Dolly Parton — not only for her incredible talent, but for the woman she was. Strong, kind, funny, hardworking and completely herself.

Hearing of her passing this week was so sad. She was such an inspiration to women in business and in life, and so many of her words have stayed with me over the years.

These are just a few of my favourites. A lovely reminder to work hard, be kind, enjoy the life you’re building and, most importantly, stay true to yourself. 🤍

Funny how life comes full circle sometimes

With the Leaving Cert results out today, it got me thinking back to when I got mine many moons ago!

Back then, I actually wanted to be a hairdresser. When I started training, I chose a course that included beauty too — I thought I might as well get two qualifications while I was at it!

But somewhere along the way, I found something I wasn’t expecting.

I fell in love with beauty and wellbeing. I found the treatments relaxing and, in a way, healing for me too. And that little decision ended up shaping the career and business I have today.

Then, of all days, today I got the chance to go back to my hairdressing roots and create this upstyle for a lovely lady. I forgot how much I enjoyed it! 🥰

A little reminder for anyone receiving results today — the path you think you’re taking isn’t always where you’ll end up, and that’s okay. Sometimes the unexpected turns are the best ones.

Our first Serene Retreat is starting to come together, and I’m so excited to bring this day to life.

A day to simply slow down, reset and reconnect, with yoga, sound bath, food, a self-care facial and, most importantly, some time just for you.

✨ The First Serene Retreat ✨

I’m so excited to finally share that our first Serene Retreat is coming this September — and it feels extra special that it will be held in the Convent (Bloom HQ), a place that has been part of my own journey as I went to school there.
It will be a small, intimate day to slow down, switch off and take some time for yourself, bringing together wellness, relaxation and, of course, a little skincare with Environ.

I’ll be sharing the details first with some of my current Serene clients who have expressed an interest in our retreats, before opening the remaining places publicly.

I’m so excited to finally bring this together and I’m really looking forward to sharing more information with you very soon.
