Tongue tie for a little one can create difficulties for feeding, sleeping and ease of body. Recently I had a 4 week old boy come to see me after a tongue tie release.
The release is just the first step in helping the baby’s body. Feeding was still very stressful for both Mam and baby and between feeds he didn’t nap but instead cried and screamed.
As a Craniosacral Therapist I can help baby to release the tension held through the whole body.
After his first session Mam found baby more relaxed in his body and was able to have two feeds without the ni**le shield.
After the second session Mam sent this message to me
“Heya Maeve, aw he’s like a different baby since we were in with you, little routine every 2-3 hours of feed-nappy-play-sleep and no more screaming for hours in the evening 🎉
Thanks so much for the work you did with him, he’s just so much more calm now, such a happy baby ☺️ xx”
Colic, feeding issues and tension patterns can take time to resolve and as a Craniosacral Therapist I only work at baby’s pace but I am delighted for the whole family here as they can now all get the sleep they need and an ease in feeding, which allows more time for play and joy 💚
