Our Pharmacy is taking part in the HSE's new Community Pharmacy FREE BowelScreen initiative!

A FREE bowel cancer screening programme for people aged 57–71, helping to detect early signs of bowel cancer, often before symptoms appear.

How can you take part?

✅ Pop into your local McGreals Pharmacy and speak to our friendly team.
✅ We can help you understand the programme and how to register for your free screening kit.
✅ Your screening kit is sent directly to your home, where you complete a simple test and return it by post.

Early detection can save lives!

McGreals Pharmacies are proud to be taking part in the HSE’s BowelScreen pharmacy initiative this October.

BowelScreen is Ireland’s free bowel cancer screening programme for people aged 57-71. The simple test is completed at home and can help detect bowel cancer early - often before any symptoms appear.

If you’re eligible and have questions about BowelScreen, registering, receiving your home test kit or simply want to know a little more, have a chat with your McGreals pharmacy team. We’re here to help. 💚

Early detection can save lives, so please don’t be afraid to start the conversation.
