Something strange afoot this morning..✨️

I've not connected with this account for a long time- hardly at all in the last year with pregnancy and baba.. so my algorithm has shifted, and this morning, I kept getting posts about Pentre Ifan in Wales.. (from accounts I don't follow) or seeing posts where I could immediately identify it in the background..💫

I know that place! I spent a very magical morning there, and I had it completely to myself! I shared songs with it, and it shared songs with me. I didn't post in detail about it at the time (2 years ago) because I was still shy about sharing light language in this space.. for me, it is an intuitive part of ceremony and healing, and not everything needs to be put into the online space. At the time I made the recordings, they felt like a private moment that I wanted to remember.

But today, after seeing so much Pentre Ifan content out of the blue, I feel it is now the time to share these little bursts I received at these epic stones..

I cannot tell you how beautiful the surrounding views are here.. the Preselli hills.. and on the spring morning when I was there, how the daffodils bounced and danced and all the nature spirits felt so present and alive. This is a powerful intergalactic portal. But there is lightness and humour here, too. Our brethren in Wales have such deep magic on their doorsteps! I moved to Cardiff when I was 18 for college, so Wales has a very special place in my heart.

This is your message to go hug some stones and sing some songs.. you never know what might come through! ✨️✨️✨️

Mama Cacao and Rose 🌹

My relationship with cacao began somewhere around 2012 in London at a sound bath by the incredible Lani Rocillo. It had a profound effect on me and, over the years, has been instrumental in my development and journey.

What took me by surprise, though, was just HOW much she came to my aid this post partum..

I drank cacao daily for 40 days straight as part of my recovery, and now she still calls to me through this exhaustion and says, 'Here- mama- let me hold you- you got this'.💗

Rose has also been coming through for me.. usually just rose buds in hot water.. a soft and gentle tea to soothe and ease the heart and keep the heart field activated and gentle.. the message is to be gentle with myself.🌹

My little boy is almost 5 months, but the nights these last weeks have been extremely difficult.. just getting enough sleep to function.. both of these heart medicines have been holding me together in gentle strength and allowing me to keep going.❤️

If you have young children right now and you aren't managing to meditate/pray/journal/breathe please don't worry. The children ARE the work. Your presence alone is sacred to them. Mama cacao and rose know this. They are there for the mothers and all those who are holding people and caring for others. They are there for all hearts who need healing and hope. 🕊

Happy Anniversary to me! It's been 10 years this month that I put my imposter syndrome to one side and began training as a healer.

As I emerge bleary-eyed from a long winter and post partum from the birth of my second son, I am reflecting on the journey so far.

I started with no intentions other than to develop myself and manage my then very high anxiety and stage fright.. but as I practised on flatmates and friends, I was called to practice professionally, seeing clients in East London and spending any spare hours in Watkins bookshop. I was blessed to have a community of very like-minded, magickal friends, and we all seemed to go down the rabbit hole together -holding each other's hands when the ride got rough.

On moving back to Ireland 5 years ago, I found myself on the verge of a land that was finding its voice again.. a reclamation and awakening which is still rising.. and magical communities that are forming all over and connecting us deeper to the land, the language, and each other.

After 10 years of almost continuous training, I feel even less able to put this work into words.. it humbles me at every turn. I know nothing. I will forever be the student and not the master.

I can only summarise what I understand healing to be in these 3 things..

To bring into balance.
To empower.
To see what is possible...

Deepest gratitude to all who have been part of this journey so far, to all my teachers, my coven of magickal kin, and everyone who has ever trusted me to hold healing space.. I hope to see some of you at a gathering soon..

A busy year has meant a lot less ceremony but we are gathering on Sunday at Bear Cottage to reconnect 🐻 ❤️ Last spaces remaining.. 🎃

Gathering to honour the ancestors, the season, the Cailleach Beara, and root ourselves deeply for the coming dark months. We will have Mother Mugwort by the fire before settling into the studio for an immersive sound journey.

Gorgeous morning at Kilclief ⛱️

Thanks so much to everyone who made it along! 🙏 The bowls were raring to go after a hiatus!

Also thanks to .lovehere for having me back for a third year as part of their Healthy Oceans Healthy Minds events. 🌊

There was barely a breeze and many of us enjoyed a swim or a paddle in the crystal clear water afterwards.. all careful to avoid the jellyfish 🪼!

Reconnecting to nature, taking rest, and taking time out for self care 🦭🌊

Reviving old traditions around this Bealtaine season.. (with a little help from little hands)

As a child, it was my responsibility to pick flowers from the garden for the May altar, as not only does the month bring us the beginning of summer and the great fire festival, it is the whole month of dedication to Mother Mary.

Traditionally, a statue or picture of Mary would be placed on a white cloth and decorated with flowers and candles. Sometimes, the statue would be adorned with a flower crown.

The tradition of honouring Mary in May is said to have begun in Italy in the 11th century, but it may also be linked to the ancient Greeks who used flower crowns to honour and invoke favour, particularly with Artemis to symbolise her connection to fertility and nature.

Mary transcends any religion. For me, she is the embodiment of the divine feminine, The Mother of the World, Mother of Mothers, Mother to all, and we are all her children. Her energy is the purest unconditional love.

Honouring her in this way connects me to my childhood, honouring family lineage of devotion to her, and involving my son, which means the tradition may even carry forward if he chooses to.

So perhaps you might like to revive this old tradition.. or perhaps even start it afresh for generations to come.

The divine feminine lives in us all.. and this time of Bealtaine honours the balance of the male and female energy for new life..

Call on Mother Mary when you are out of balance, call on her when your little one's are unwell, call on her for everything. She is divine grace and love.
