PART 3: SACRED MEDICINE BEAD CEREMONY EARTH
We are all connected through the web of life, the stories of our Ancestors are held in the Earth – the stones, rocks, plants and trees and the water.
“We need to help the Ancestors remember what they are here for” Zanemvula would say. “People are forgetting to connect with them… they help us and guide us especially when you have healed the lines” Zanemvula Peter von Maltitz.
Zanemvula, blessed be his Spirit, was a beautiful man who shared the African Xhosa beads with us (Grey Elk - Paul O’Halloran and White Feathers Woman – Melanie O’Halloran-Gomes, who also received the fire beads from Grey Elk).
These Medicine Beads are very sacred and it is with such honour and joy that we pass them on to those who are called as a final level of their training (after the shamanic and advanced shamanic courses) with Pathway teaching. The beads help to really align with why we came here as souls on a deeper level, you cannot run from your soul purpose with these beads. Every bead represents an Ancestor and they help us to connect with the Spirits of the Ascended Ancestors in our lines (mother line, father line and soul or miscellaneous line) and also the Ascended Spirits of the elements – the AIR (Sylphs – air elementals), the WATER (Mer people – water elementals), the EARTH (Fairies – earth elementals) and the FIRE (Salamanders – fire elementals).
The energies we work with are all SOURCE energies, so do not be led in to separation consciousness, long before doctrine, unbalanced patriarchy and fear-based consciousness people knew that these energies were not separate from us. They are one with the God/Goddess consciousness even though at times a lot of healing can be needed for us to fully realise this and remember. As we as a collective allow the Unity Consciousness and the energy of the One Heart to fully land and become realised.
There can be immense blessings gifted when we work with the elementals as they can help us truly heal and they guide us when we work with them, but it takes time to build the relationship and trust with them. Also, you need to know how to connect to the ones that are ascended i.e. at one with Source as the elementals can also need healing because of all the damage people have done to the Earth.
Our work is about following your heart, deepening your intuition and connecting to the original time lines long before any fall or separation consciousness to reconnect to pure Source energy – pure love, Divine Consciousness and the One Heart. This work helps you to reconnect to your true Spirit but it is not for the faint hearted as you may be asked to give up a lot especially if you are called to work for the Ascended Source Elementals/Ascended Ancestors. They will look after you, but you will not be able to continue as you are as they bring up every shadow in yourself to look into, to face and to heal including those traumas and hurts that you are called to heal on behalf of your Ancestor lines. This is not easy work and it can bring you to your knees, but we do it with the support of the community, those who have already walked the walk. You will know if you are called. If you are in doubt, you are welcome to reach out and talk with us and we can ask your Spirit Guides but first and foremost you need to feel it. We do not tell people what to do, the calling comes from inside you in your heart and soul and you just know. The calling can come in visions, in dreams, in full felt experiences also through trauma and from situations that have completely changed you as a person as you are left with no options that work anymore.
Our work is about empowering people to become whole again, to reclaim that which is theirs, to express their soul purpose with joy, freedom and with open hearts.
For those who do not know what shamanism is, shamanism helps us to connect to nature, to heal ourselves and to connect and remember the deepest parts of our being. It is about experiencing the world of Spirit (Great Spirit/Source/God/Goddess), whilst living an ordinary life in humility. It is not a religion or philosophy but is a connection that helps us to remember who we really are. Even though different techniques may be used there are common principles that can be applied to help you on your path in your everyday life by establishing a deeper connection to nature and the Spirit helpers around you and to Mother Earth as you become one with the elements and the spirits of the directions.
To be honest Great Spirit (as in Source) does not care about things like what you look like, what car you drive or how big your house is. If you are called, you are called and sometimes people are called who have never heard of shamanism and do not know what it is (like Melanie was). Shamanism brings you from your head into your heart helping you to hear its message and to remember what is in your soul. You can do simple connections to the elementals and the Mother Earth on your own without anyone knowing, if it’s too much to commit to any course. Give from your heart and they will hear you. You can also always give them biodegradable things that do not pollute the Earth.
Shamanism also teaches you to journey into Spirit to receive guidance and answers, to understand, to heal deep seated problems, to heal things that cannot be explained in this dimension for people, places or situations.
However, there can be years of “unlearning” that are required to remove conditioning and fixed perceptions before you become the pure vessel for Great Spirit/Source to use you and on saying that you never “stop healing” if anything you become more humble on the journey accepting you are the one that does not know and you are the one that is nothing without Great Spirit. Healing can take years this is definitely not a “quick fix”. It is truly beautiful and humbling work as they (your beloved Source Guides and Spirit helpers) know exactly what you need as you give over the small “you” that sometimes thinks it knows best to allow yourself to become of service to the Ancestors/Guides/Angels of the One Heart of Love and the Mother Earth herself/God /Goddess/Source/the I Am Presence or what ever name you wish to give the nameless One.
