Busy class tonight especially with the hot weather 😅 Focussing on building endurance in hips & low back tonight, this kind of protocol in the class has helped me recover from my ‘bad back’ last week 🙏

I am going to miss these guys SO MUCH!!!! I had my last class in the Portlaoise Gymnastics Club tonight 😭 it was so lovely to have had the opportunity to teach Pilates for you guys for so long, I will keep everyone updated if anything changes 🙏 I am grateful to everyone who has consistently shown up each week over the years & I managed to hold it together when I received a round of applause on my last night 😢

I am lucky to be able to move our Wednesday class to the Portlaoise Parish Hall @ 11.30am & look forward to our new home for Pilates

I’m so Devastated guys!!!! I’m so sad to announce the closure of my Monday night Portlaoise classes 😭😭😭 tonight is my last Monday night class.

As most of you know the Portlaoise Gymnastics Club is sold and I had to find a new location, I was successful for my Wednesday morning crew we are now setting up in the Parish hall behind the church upstairs @ 11.30am starting July 1st 🎉

Unfortunately I had no luck in the past couple of weeks locating a hall / room big enough for my Monday night crew, as you know I draw a big crowd on Monday’s and it breaks my heart to have to finish up my Monday night classes tonight!!

I’ve been teaching in portlaoise for 20years this year & I never thought we’d be homeless 😱 I’m eternally grateful to Denis for letting me use his gymnastics club for the past 7years + we will all miss the Sponge floor ❤️❤️❤️

So with a heavy heart I hope all my Monday night crew enjoy their last class with me & I hope you guys find a new home without me.

I would definitely recommend Brid’s Reformer studio she is a fantastic instructor & her studio is beautiful

My bestie teaches Reformer classes in emo if anyone is out in that location I’m not 100% sure of many matwork classes so if any matwork instructor in portlaoise is reading this please comment and let my guys know of your locations / page etc

Love you guys & I will miss the laughs on the Monday night, it won’t be that same without you guys

Small Hand-weights for the next week guys!! going to be working on strengthen those guns 💪 for the summer 😁

Really enjoyed my little break but I’m definitely missing Pilates, I keep telling everyone to stretch and move when we are off & I’m my own worst patient 😆 so I’m stiff as a plank so definitely a lot of stretches for the next week too

This week’s classes we are focussing on Flexibilty coupled with strength. The handweights are an excellent tool to use in class, the weights can add resistance or assist you in certain movements 😊

Ok guys I’ve created a Pilates’s Class course on my booking platform that you can now purchase 6 week blocks & book the 6 classes in each week for yourself

You have 50 days from date of purchase to book the 6 classes that suit you. You can also alternate between Newbridge & Portlaoise Studios or even just between Monday & Wednesday classes on Portlaoise

I had a busy weekend working in my little studio. I wanted to upgrade my equipment storage area and had a vision of what I wanted. The result is even better than I imagined & I’m obsessed with it 😍

Aww I always enjoy my Wednesday morning crew in Portlaoise…. Come to think of it, I don’t think I ever had a class in all my locations, in all my years that I didn’t ever enjoy 😅
