Hi guys,

Following the events on REACH (EU Tattoo Inks Ban), Abmai is actively engaging and supporting initiatives at a European level with Tattoo Association from EU countries.

Because we are stronger together, the CETA, Council of European Tattoo Associations, is trusted by Abmai to represent the best interests of the tattoo artists of Ireland on REACH.

To avoid the worst-case scenario: having zero ink available on the market in January 2023, our goal with CETA is to have complete information, engage early on with European authorities and gather as much legal matter as possible to state our case.

CETA has engaged a legal advisor, and CETA members support the cost of this action.

Since Abmai is not requesting any membership to its participants, the share of €844.26 has been covered by Dolores and her studio, Wildcat in Dublin.

If each of you participates in a level of €10 to €20 per artist, we would be able to share the cost of this action between all the people who will beneficiate from it in Ireland while keeping Abmai running at minimum cost, and therefore open to a wider range of people.

Abmai is hosting a meeting on Tuesday 11th of January at 9 pm. During this meeting, our goal is to answer your questions to the best of our ability. The meeting will be recorded to share with people not able to assist. And a Q&A recap will be sent as soon as possible.
