Our app delivers a more personal experience, designed around you.
We've introduced a new onboarding experience for our app that helps tailor the Beats Medical programme to what's most important to you.
When getting started, you'll be able to tell us your areas of focus, helping create a more personalised experience from day one. As your needs change, your focus areas can be updated at any time, allowing your programme to evolve alongside your journey.
We've also refreshed the look and feel of the app to make it more intuitive and easier to use.

Physiotherapy and digital therapeutics play different, but complementary roles in supporting people with Parkinson’s.
Physiotherapists provide personalised expertise, guidance and care. Digital therapeutics can help people stay engaged with exercises and routines between appointments, supporting the goals agreed with their healthcare team.
At Beats Medical, we believe digital tools work best when they complement clinical care, helping people build healthy habits into everyday life.

Living with Parkinson’s is different for every person. No two journeys look the same.
People with Parkinson’s continue to navigate life in their own way, whether that’s spending time with loved ones, pursuing interests, building routines, working toward personal goals or finding what matters most to them.
Greater awareness starts with listening to, and learning from, the diverse experiences of people living with Parkinson’s.
We’re proud to support the Parkinson’s community and the ongoing efforts to improve care, understanding and access to support.

Have you ever wondered why therapists sometimes use a metronome or steady beat during movement practice?
This approach is known as rhythm-based cueing.
A consistent rhythm can provide an external timing cue that helps guide movement during practice sessions.
That’s why the Beats Medical app includes a built-in metronome, making it easy to practise with a steady beat wherever you are.
Simple tools can help make daily practice feel more structured and engaging.
Have you ever used a metronome or rhythm while exercising? Let us know below.

Why was Beats Medical created?
The idea began with a simple observation.
While working as a physiotherapist, our founder Ciara Clancy saw the importance of helping people stay engaged with therapy in their everyday lives, not just during appointments.
That insight inspired a question:
What if people could access guided support and practice at home, whenever they needed it?
Today, that mission continues to guide everything we build.
Supporting people with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions through accessible, evidence-informed digital care that helps make therapy part of everyday life.
