Late summer hayfever is still very real and Cetrine Hayfever Tablets are now available at 2 for €12 at Ballycasey Pharmacy in Shannon. Cetrine contains cetirizine hydrochloride, a second-generation non-drowsy antihistamine that relieves sneezing, itchy eyes, runny nose and skin reactions without causing the drowsiness of older antihistamines. Suitable for adults and children over six, once daily and best taken consistently throughout the season rather than only when symptoms flare up.
