I am trained in a Yoga style that's called Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow but I have, of course, been influenced over

the years by some of the other wonderful yoga styles in existence. I now provide a teaching flow that allows a complete beginner to ease comfortably into the practice whilst also offering more challenging poses to the seasoned practitioner. The practice of Yoga in general provides a student with the opportunity to bring awareness to their physical body through breath while switching off from the workings of a busy mind. It can, therefore, be used as an active meditation bringing one to place of calm self-acceptance in difficult times! But in addition, with continued practice, the rythym and flow of the Vinyasa sequence can help to raise ones energy as it becomes a dance-like uplifting routine. For Sports Conditioning and Recovery...

The practice of Yoga in the style of Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow incorporates a focused physical practice that is synchronized with the breath. This combination benefits every area of the body by bringing healing oxygen deeper into muscle tissue than would otherwise be possible. Muscle tone is improved and the rate at which you recovery between sporting activities is increased. With continued practice you will notice your body correcting its own postural misalignment's and this will result in reduced injury potential. Recovery postures incorporated into the practice are designed to re-align the body and release tension from over worked muscles. A regular Yoga practice brings additional benefits... improved digestive function and a release of tension from key muscle groups of the chest, shoulders and neck area can help regulate mood and enhance concentration. The result is a finer athlete capable of greater endurance and a calmer approach to most daily activities.

Who would have thought a wet Saturday morning would have you wake up smiling.

Mats arriving under grey skies, Knocknarea wrapped in mist, and that little moment of wondering if you should have stayed in bed.

But honestly, there are few better things you can do on a rainy morning than roll out a yoga mat.

An hour to move, breathe, stretch, and step away from the rush of the week.

Then into the warmth of the sauna, listening to the rain on the roof while the sea sits just beyond the window.

No need for sunshine. Some mornings are perfect exactly as they are.

Rain or Shine you'll find us every Saturday morning 10am in Rosses Point.

Light enters the eye :: Light enters the cairn.

Five thousand years separate those two observations, yet somehow they feel connected.

A recent visit to Carrowkeel sent me down a rabbit hole of archaeology, circadian rhythms , ancient wisdom and human attention.

Some not (yet) fully evidence based theories explored 😉

I'd love to know what you think.

A tough master in the skies right now! The Full Moon in Sagittarius brings awareness.

An awareness of what has been missing, what we can no longer ignore, and where we may have outgrown old ways of thinking.

There is a sense of expansion around this moon, but not through wishing or waiting.

What is alive in you this year now asks for effort, action, courage, and commitment.

The vision is one thing. The work is another.

This Full Moon feels like a moment to lift your head, look a little further ahead, and ask yourself: What am I ready to back with my energy?

Not everything needs to happen at once, but something needs to move.

Bookings are now open for the annual Carrowkeel Solstice Yoga-Hike.

Every year this evening offers something different.

No matter how many times we return to Carrowkeel, there is always a new insight, a new perspective, a new conversation, or simply a renewed sense of awe at this remarkable landscape.

Join us for an evening hike through the hills to the Carrowkeel passage tombs. Along the way we'll explore the archaeology, geography, folklore and mysteries of the landscape, pause for simple earth-energy meditation and yoga practices, and stay to witness the sunset illumination of one of Ireland's most remarkable ancient monuments.
This has become one of our favourite annual events and we're looking forward to sharing it again this Summer Solstice.

A longer blog post is coming soon with some of the history, archaeology, theories and wonder surrounding Carrowkeel.

📍 Sunday 21st June
📍 Meet 6pm, Castlebaldwin

🌕 Full Flower Moon | 1st May 2026

This Full Moon carries the energy of the Flower Moon, a time of wild growth, blooming, and life rising to the surface. What has been quietly building now asks to be seen.

With the Moon in Scorpio, truth comes into sharp focus, especially around finances, relationships, and partnerships. There’s also strong Aries energy, bringing courage and directness. You may feel called to look at what is actually working… and what isn’t.

Not everything needs to end, but what is true cannot be unseen.

And truth, at this time, is powerful.

✨ A simple ritual:
Sit with what you truly need, not what you want, but what sustains you.

Health. Stability. Education. Support.

Then ask: What can I realistically set aside each week to honour this?

Create a small “truth fund” or jar, a quiet commitment to investing in what genuinely supports your life.

Growth isn’t just what blooms above ground.
It’s what you choose to root into. 🌱

Why I do a regular workshop?

When we seek out one big breakthrough ‘fix’ and it fails, it can push your nervous system even further over the edge.
My desire is to teach 🤗 So that you have small, repeatable tools that guide your body back to solid ground and help you feel safe again.

The first Nervous System Reset Workshop this year is on:
🗓 22nd March | 3pm - 5pm
📍 The Den, Rosses Point

This session blends science-led understanding with practice, movement, breathwork and therapeutic humming to help you access what I call the central state: the place of rest, repair and steady energy.

Many of us live toggling between “go” and “crash.”
Fight-or-flight… then exhaustion.
In this workshop, we explore personal tools you can use daily:
• Breath as a lever for regulation
• Gentle movement to support local nerve pathways
• Vocal toning to stimulate the vagus nerve
• Practical ways to focus on what you can control, and release what you can’t.

Lay a foundation of calm so activation becomes play not stress, that quiet times feels personal and intimate not lonely. When you have that central calm... you get to choose.

If you’d like practical tools that can return you to calm again and again, this is for you.

🌕 February Full Moon | The Snow Moon
Sunday 1st February

The February Full Moon is known as the Snow Moon, named for deep winter snows and the quiet endurance they require. It reminds us that even when things feel still, life is always moving beneath the surface.

This Full Moon shines in Leo, inviting you to dream big, listen to your heart, and remember what lights you up. With Saturn’s influence, those dreams also ask for structure, small, practical steps that turn inspiration into something real.

💧 A simple ritual:
Write down one bold dream you’ve been holding, and one realistic action you can take this month to support it.
Place the page on a windowsill under the moonlight with a bowl or glass of water resting on top.
In the morning, drink the water and keep the page somewhere you’ll see it often, a quiet commitment to both vision and follow-through.

Dream boldly. Move steadily. ❄️✨
