This is stunning: Republican Senator Bill Cassidy sharply criticized Donald Trump’s handling of Iran, calling it one of the worst foreign-policy mistakes in decades and saying Ronald Reagan would be “rolling over in his grave.”

Let that sink in. This isn’t a Democrat making the argument. It’s a Republican Senator publicly stating that Trump’s foreign policy toward Iran has been a disaster for America, U.S. troops, allies, and national security.

Trump promised strength. Critics argue he delivered chaos. He promised to keep America safe. Instead, they say his actions contributed to a dangerous crisis, rising costs, strained alliances, and concern even among some Republicans.

Every American should see this. When members of Trump’s own party describe the Iran situation as one of the worst foreign-policy blunders in decades, it highlights the depth of the debate over whether these policies made America stronger or less safe.

🚨 Trump: "The story that the U.S. is paying Iran $300 million is fake news, put out by the Democrats!"

Hours earlier, JD Vance was asked directly: "The Iranians are saying they're going to have access to a $300 billion reconstruction fund. True or false?"

Vance replied: "That's the sort of thing they could have access to..."

So now people are asking: What exactly is fake? The $300 million figure, or the $300 billion reconstruction fund? Because those are two very different numbers.

Trump says the U.S. is not paying Iran. Vance says Iran could potentially access a $300 billion reconstruction fund if it meets the conditions of the agreement. Reports indicate the fund would come primarily from private investors and foreign partners, not directly from U.S. taxpayers.

The apparent disconnect is becoming harder to ignore.

For years, Trump criticized Obama's Iran deal as a giveaway. Now, his administration is discussing a framework that reportedly includes sanctions relief, access to frozen assets, and potential access to a large reconstruction fund if Iran complies with the agreement.

Whether you support the deal or oppose it, one point remains: Trump and Vance do not appear to be communicating the same message. One is calling it "fake news." The other is explaining how such a fund could potentially work.

❓If the reconstruction fund is real but not funded by U.S. taxpayers, why has the administration struggled to present a single, consistent explanation?
