I've been a bit quiet here over the last few weeks because of some mystery virus that had me absolutely floored. I had to step away from everything to rest, slow down, and let my body heal. Luckily, I have all my herbal allies here for support. 🌿
Thank you all so much for your patience with delayed orders, msgs, not being able to do markets I had lined up, and everything! It's a massive reminder how hard running a small business on your own can be.
Yesterday was my first time in over 3, maybe 4 weeks to make something - a fresh batch of Dandelion salves - deep nourishment for dry, chapped skin and boosting circulation - something I definitely need after being mostly bed bound.
The gardens gone mad after no attention for the few weeks - everything in abundance and thriving the way it should when left alone. The bees are being well fed! 💛

Just said I'd pop on to let you know - that monthly subscriptions have been set up on my online store. Beneficial for those of you loyal customers who repeatedly purchase the same salves every few weeks (Thank you!) it's a handy option. I've also rejigged shipping prices for the smaller parcels - trying to keep the prices down as I know myself that I hate paying extortionate prices for shipping! 🫠

And I've (finally) set up local delivery options on the website to make life easier for locals who buy. I have a few drop-off points around the sligo, south Donegal, and north Leitrim areas.

The gardens well and truly starting to bloom, Bealtaine is definitely a favourite time of mine.. all the hard work paying off seeing seeds sown growing into beautiful plants, pops of colour all around, and of course harvesting and drying young leaves and flowers. Forever trying to get ahead with drying, storing herbs and infusions.
