If you’re a business owner or career-driven person there’s a good chance you eat out quite a bit.
Client dinners, social occasions or holidays. But they don’t have to derail your weight loss goals. Here’s how to handle them.
1️⃣ Create a calorie buffer.
For 5-6 days before the even take 150-200 calories per day off your regular intake. You’ve now put them in the bank before the excess happens.
2️⃣ Base your meal around protein. 🥩
Choose things like chicken, steak, turkey, fresh fish.
And then we’ll start to build the meal from there.
3️⃣ Add vegetables. 🥕🥦
Vegetables are nutrient dense, low calorie and almost impossible to overeat on.
Load up on them, include greens, and get loads of colour on your plate.
4️⃣ One plate rule. 🍽️
If it’s a buffet style this rule becomes really important.
Only what can fit on one regular sized plate. That’s it. No seconds.
5️⃣ Have the dessert! 🍰
Life is short! And remember those calories you banked earlier (see #1)…this is where we’re going to use them.
We’ve got the treat in without going overboard.
