During the week, I had the pleasure of practising creative mindfulness with some students from the Presentation 🙂

We spoke about big freelings and learned some regulation tools such as breathing exercises. We then focused on building self-esteem and confidence through meditations, art and plenty of chats.

I was really impressed with the level of self-reflection and expression from these students 💜

Thanks so much to the Presentation for having me and for the staff and students for being so warm, welcoming and open 🥰

Our workshop on Friday was wonderful 💜

We started off by getting to know each other with a 'Get to Know You Dice Game'. We got to know everyone's favourite colour, place, meal 🍽 🥗 and movie 🎥

We relaxed to some breathing exercises such as ball breathing, windmill breathing, slinky breathing, and hand breathing ✋️

We did a beautiful butterfly meditation 🦋 focusing on how each of us is unique. And then everyone completed their very own unique butterfly 🦋

We took a walk to the local park and did some cosmic yoga 🧘‍♀️ and also managed to fit in some tree climbing 🌳

We read the story 'The Lion Inside', which explains how we have both a lion (courage) and mouse (timidity) inside 🦁 🐁

Our final artwork included drawing or writing what we are good at, someone we love, a time when we were brave and something we enjoy 💜

Thank you to all the children who attended on Friday 💜. I hope to see you all again soon.

Our next workshop is in August, and I am looking forward to it already 🙂💜
