Cneasú (pronounced kneh-soo) means Healing in the Irish language — because here, we believe that healing is a journey, not a destination.

💛 About Me

After a lifetime of unexplained symptoms, I was finally diagnosed with Coeliac Disease in 2004 and Stage 4 Endometriosis in 2005 at the age of 26. It took years of research, surgery, chronic pain and self-education to learn how to truly manage both conditions — often without proper medical support. Living with these two serious chronic illnesses means I must follow a strict gluten free diet and lifestyle. Every ingredient matters — even tiny amounts of cross-contamination can trigger my immune system. Instead of giving up, I decided to turn my experience into something positive — and create a space to help others who are also navigating chronic illness, healing, and lifestyle changes.

🌱 About Cneasú

In 2011 I launched The Gluten Free Kitchen Company, a Food & Wellness Brand that grew into a supportive community for people living with chronic health conditions. In 2021, I expanded that vision and created Cneasú — a wellness and healing community where we share stories, connect through holistic living, and support each other through every stage of our journeys. Over the years I’ve trained in holistic therapies, wellness products, and ancient healing rituals, which now inspire the work I do every day. I believe that illness often stems from unhealed trauma — and that reconnecting to ourselves and to nature is part of the healing path.

✨ What We Do

Cneasú is a growing community that offers:
💛 Retreats & Healing Events
🎙️ The Cneasú Podcast
🤝 Support Groups & Awareness Campaigns
🌿 Food & Wellness Education

I also speak openly about topics that are often stigmatised — because sharing our experiences can educate, heal and empower others.

Today is World Mental Health Day. 🌸

Let’s be more mindful of where we get our information, the gossip we listen to and the stories we repeat without knowing the full context. Staying in our own lane matters too.

Supporting mental health does not mean excusing bad behaviour. Compassion and accountability can exist together.

Having a public social media platform isn’t an open invitation to feedback that hasn’t been asked for. Stay in your lane. An unsolicited opinion doesn’t become valid simply because someone feels entitled to share it.

We can delete comments, block people on our socials and step away from people in real life if that’s what brings us peace. Nobody is entitled to unlimited access to us.

Choosing who has access to us is a vibe we all need to have. ✨

Be kind. Respect boundaries. Protect your peace.

Instead of starting a new petition for a National Endometriosis Inquiry, wouldn’t it be nice if our community came together and shared the original petition launched in March 2024?

There is already a call for an inquiry. Let’s strengthen it together and put an end to the competing and division. Patients deserve a united community working towards accountability, answers and better care.

Unity wins the battle. 🌸

If you missed me on Newstalk’s Lunchtime Live today, you can listen back here.

I shared my experience of delays to healthcare and the continuing struggle to access the care I need.

Thank you to Newstalk for giving patients space to be heard. Now we need those conversations to lead to action. 🌸

I’ll be on Newstalk’s Lunchtime Live today at 12.40pm, discussing my experience of delayed endometriosis care and my continuing search for specialist treatment.

Following last night’s RTÉ Prime Time investigation, it’s vital that patients’ experiences remain part of the conversation.

The momentum is welcome. We need a national inquiry.

Tune in to Newstalk. 🌸

Tonight’s RTÉ Prime Time investigation felt painfully familiar.

Endo Ireland chairman Damien Donoghue spoke live after the segment about misogyny in endometriosis care. He couldn’t be more correct. I know the consequences of being told I was imagining symptoms that were changing my life.

Diagnosed since 2005. Romania, London and Cork in twelve months. Now I’m organising Warsaw, pending ESAIS approval.

The momentum ahead of the framework’s first anniversary is welcome. But we need a national inquiry.

I’ll be on Newstalk’s Lunchtime Live on Friday, October 9th, discussing the delays to my care.

A piece of my family’s history is coming to print. 🌸

A new book about my great-granduncle, Austin Stack, has been written by historian Owen O’Shea.

Unchanged and Unchangeable: Austin Stack and the Irish Revolution explores his life and contribution to Ireland’s struggle for independence. I’m looking forward to reading it and seeing his story shared with a new generation.

Due for publication in November 2026, it’s available to pre-order now:

A 14.5-year average wait for an endometriosis diagnosis among respondents to the RTÉ/Frendo survey. Behind those figures are lives put on hold.

Please watch Prime Time tonight at 9.35pm on RTÉ One. Dr Rachel O’Connor’s experience feels painfully familiar - and I’m still waiting for care.

I’ve written to ESAIS asking whether the Warsaw clinic could be an option for me too.

Read my petition update and please share. We need timely care, accountability and a national inquiry.
