We are delighted to announce the launch of a new MS Ireland physiotherapy service for people living with neurological conditions in South West Dublin.

Based at the MS Ireland Care Centre in Bushy Park, Dublin 6, the service will provide individual and group physiotherapy programmes and will work closely with HSE primary care and disability services, community neurorehabilitation teams and local exercise providers.

This is an important milestone in MS Ireland’s ongoing advocacy for greater access to specialist neurological physiotherapy across Ireland.

Ava Battles, CEO of MS Ireland, said:

“Access to specialist neurological physiotherapy can make an enormous difference to a person’s mobility, independence, confidence and overall quality of life. We are delighted that this new service will now bring that expertise to more people in the community.”

We are very grateful to Dr Aoife O’Donoghue and Ciara Lynch of the HSE for their support in securing funding for this post, and we look forward to working in partnership with the HSE to develop and strengthen neurological rehabilitation services in South West Dublin.
