Glencomeragh House

Glencomeragh House Glencomeragh House, also known as the Rosminian House of Prayer, is a retreat and conference centre Who Comes To Glencomeragh? Who Runs Glencomeragh?

Glencomeragh House, the Rosminian House of Prayer, is situated at the foot of the Comeragh Mountains, in a part of the hidden Ireland between Tipperary and Waterford. It is a place of spectacular natural beauty, bounded by mountains, woods and streams. The nearest village is Kilsheelan, which has won many Tidy Town awards. The historic towns of Carrick-on-Suir and Clonmel, to the east and west res

pectively, are within easy driving distance. Glencomeragh is now a House of Prayer, owned and run by members of the Rosminian Institute of Charity. People of all religions and none come to Glencomeragh, on their own or as couples or in groups, large and small. They come to meditate, to go on retreat, to give thanks, to seek help in times of crisis or simply to take time out from their busy lives. Groups wishing to find a quiet place for seminars or business meetings come regularly to avail of the excellent conference facilities. The House also offers a varied programme of events which are organised throughout the year. Glencomeragh is run by the Rosminians. They are a group of priests, brothers and sisters, members of a Catholic Religious Order. We are spread over four continents. We are a comparatively small Order but are engaged in a wide variety of charitable works. We were founded in Italy and spread quickly to England and Ireland and from there to the U.S.A., Africa, New Zealand, South America and India. specifics

I am overwhelmed by the response to the announcement of the annual Mass for healing. I don't know how many priests if any other than myself will be available on the night for concelebration and the anointing but how ever long it takes everyone will be anointed and our faith in the risen Lord and our most loving Father and our prayers for the sick will surely bring healing to many. God bless each and every one of you who promotes this special evening.

On Friday the 14th of August we will be holding our annual Healing Mass at 7.30. Suir Valley Folk Group will provide the Music for the Mass. Please let as many people as possible know of this event especially the sick and those in need of prayer and anointing for healing.
