‘Being told I might not make my 30th birthday was the wake-up call I needed.’

After learning that his weight was putting his life at risk, all John could think of was his family – and the moments he’d miss unless he made a significant change 💔… so that’s what he did.

With the support he found at his local Slimming World group, John lost a staggering 16st 12lbs (107kg) and turned his life around. Instead of being at risk of dying young, he’s now feeling healthy, confident and excited for the future – and has maintained his weight for more than two years 👏.

After being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and becoming increasingly worried about her health, Michelle joined Slimming World to make sure she’d be around to see her grandchildren grow up ❤️. With the right support and by making small, sustainable changes, she began to feel more confident in managing her health – and over time, she noticed significant improvements. Now 7st 10lbs (49kg) lighter, she finds everything much more manageable and her blood sugar levels are in a normal range 💪.

Last but not least... our 10.30am Man of the Year winner 🏆.. Jamie
Jamie recently achieved his 10 stone award (meaning he lost ME 👊) He loves that he can now move more easily with pressure off his knees and back and no longer has to mentally plan for a trip upstairs. Jamie is a great cook and always shares his recipes &top swaps in group. While jamie is still on his weight loss journey he is already feeling the benefits to having lost such an incredible amount of weight &I'm excited to see how many more awards he's going to achieve 🥰

Next up... Our 9am Man of the Year winner 🏆
Robert- joined us for health reasons, lost almost two stone to reach his target &attends group every week to keep all us women in check 😆 Robert still enjoys his couple of pints at the weekend and knows how to keep everything balanced so he can protect his weight loss but still enjoy himself 👌 Robert is always there with a kind word of advice when needed and always up for a laugh...our group wouldn't be the same without him 🤗

Introducing our amazing Men of the Year as voted for in group last week...First up..
Our 7.30am winner 🏆 Tommie- with over 9 stone lost he has truly changed his life for the better. Tommie loves his style and this has been one of the bonuses to losing weight..fitting into the designer suits he loves!
Tommie recently reached target and still attends group every week to inspire and motivate others while keeping himself on track 🙌

First ever Friday evening group in Munster and only 2 Friday evening groups in all of Ireland 🇮🇪 so I'm proud to be giving this a shot and giving members in Tramore & Waterford further options.

FRIDAYS at Slimming World Tramore will now have 3 sessions available to members locally ....
7.30AM - Early bird 🐦
9.00AM - Handy for after school run 🏃‍♀️
6.30PM - Evening Group for after work ⏰️
