European Indoors Masters Championships 2026

What an experience! Get strapped in it's a long one !

130 Irish Athletes
77 medals won
7th out of 32 countries on the medal table

Being a part of this incredible team of athletes is seriously beyond my wildest dreams as a youngster! Watching all our amazing athletes take on their discipline with such pride will stay with me forever.

The utter highs and lows of athletics are so real, so exhilarating, so exhausting, so addictive !

Personally making the finals of both the 60m & 200m was a huge success & yet my times/races were not my finest. But we learn and we grow and we trust the process.

get Bronze in her 60m, seeing her on the podium sent me over the edge & made me burst with pride. You so deserve it pal 🙌🏼💚 thanks for all the pep talks, whatsapps, podcasts etc.🤪

Running on a women's team the age category below me with Sinead, & was incredible and when we came 2nd - well that just blew my mind ! You girls rock💪🏼💚

Our Friday morning training crew excelled at every event - legends 💪🏼

Being on a team with my buddy, training partner & club mate was the icing on the cake. After a shocker of a year, Fiona has shown such resilience through sheer determination & perseverance & having run incredibly in her individual 60m & 200m, ran a whopper relay with Brian Fallon & .boyce.77 and we got bronze ! 🇮🇪💚 I am beyond proud of you Fiona x

Master athletes from all over Europe were just the coolest, soundest people & I feel so lucky to have connected with some of you x

World Record holders !
W45 4 x 400m Indoor relay World record holders !

Deserves a little spot on the grid. What a team: .toner - I am honoured to have run on the track as a team with you 3 Trojan women💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

My first indoor 400m run ever & thanks to my deadly strength guru or I felt strong right to the finish line.

My awesome coach listens to my moans & always gives the best advice - thanks Adam😜

Huge thanks to & all of the volunteers who made the world record attempts possible. Without you wouldn't be where it is today.

Congratulations to the W60 & M75 teams who also smashed their records. Seeing you do what you do inspires me every time I am on the track! My absolute heroes 💚

Scottish Masters Championships 2026

What an experience! What an arena ! What an event ! With the best crew!

First time wearing the singlet abroad, so proud to do it! 💚

Ups & downs performance-wise after a tough few weeks beforehand training-wise.

Delighted with a PB in my 60m & 2nd place.

Raging with my much slower 200m, 3rd place but poor performance.

We take the positives, get back to it & trust the process 💪🏼💚

Ups & downs // good times & trying times.

A tough day at Leinsters yesterday. 2 gold medals but not feeling good in either race, knowing I am capable of so much more & yet my body just wasn't doing what I needed it to do.

I am so lucky to be surrounded by this incredible Masters Athletics community who are such a supportive bunch.

Now, time to regroup, reset, recover & trust the process 💪🏼

Thanks for being my rock & of course to for putting up with my whinging & moaning & trying to keep me positive 🙏🏼🙌🏼

A little shout out for Min .yoga

I am a competitive sprinter & had a big championship coming up. My training program was an intense 12 week block of 4 days on the track + 2-3 times in the gym. As I got closer to the championship, my body was crying out for some gentle movement.

I couldn't make Min's evening Yin class so I got in touch & asked her if she would consider doing a 1:1 with me. I was so thrilled when she agreed.

I had 1 session a week for the 2 weeks prior to the Championship & it was so, so perfect. Min welcomed me into her Zen yoga den & took me under her wings. She really listened to what I needed & created 2 beautiful sessions where I just felt so relaxed & cared for. That's just Min's way, it's what she does so effortlessly & so naturally.

I floated out of her home into my day not only a looser, more relaxed athlete but I was a better, nicer Mom, wife and human!

If you're a beginner or the most advanced yogi, I honestly can't recommend her highly enough. Everyone needs a bit of Min in their lives 🧘🏼‍♀️🩷💜

European Masters Championships 2025 (EMACs) - Madeiras

My 2nd season sprinting finished on the biggest high. One I definitely would never have believed would be possible 2.5 years ago after my ACL surgery.

Having won every race I entered this year, I thought I would easily make the finals in the EMACs but I was completely in awe at the calibre of the athletes in this championship.

100m - semi-final, 11th overall

200m - semi-final PB 27.45 & final PB 27.38, 6th overall

4 x 100m - W45 -4th

4 x 400m - Mixed 45 - 3rd - BRONZE 🥉
4 X 400M - W45 - 3rd - BRONZE 🥉

So many people helped to get me there, first though, my husband , the most patient, supportive man on the planet! I am so, so grateful to you & never take it for granted for a second! Of course our girls were the best little cheerleaders along with their buddies (Con, Ollie & Ella!).

All my family who came out to see me and those who couldn't make it, sending constant messages of love & support as well as my gorgeous pals - thank you so much. (Too many to tag !)

& The crew! I couldn't have done 8 races in 5 days injury free without you & all the work you have out into this!

Special mention to my sprint sister/mirror twin, Sinead OConnor. I am finding it very difficult doing anything without discussing it with you first these days! So beyond proud of you lr amazing individual performances as well as winning Gold and bronze in your first Champs 💪🏼

I will never ever forget my experience of running for Ireland, something I dreamed of when I was a kid but never thought it might ever be a reality! Now, I just want more, Poland here we come !🇮🇪☘️💚
