Job Title: Sales Representative with Chemistry Background
Role Summary
We are seeking a results-driven and motivated Sales Representative with a background in chemistry. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge or experience in analytical chemistry. This role involves selling laboratory products and/or consumables, with a strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to offer tailored technical solutions.
Success in this position will be defined by meeting sales targets, expanding the customer base, and maintaining long-term relationships with existing clients.
The role is part of the company’s sales team and requires fieldwork alongside close collaboration with internal technical and support
teams.
Responsibilities
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals
Provide technical consultation to customers, particularly in research, academic, or industrial laboratories
Conduct on-site meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
Analyze customer needs and recommend suitable solutions
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and scientific conferences
Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and report on sales activities
Qualifications
B.Sc. in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field – required
Previous experience in scientific or laboratory sales – strong advantage
Background or knowledge in analytical chemistry – preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hebrew and English
Strong interpersonal skills, self-discipline, and high organizational ability
Willingness to travel across the country for client meetings
Proficiency in computer systems (MS Office, CRM tools)
