In Traditional Eastern Medicine, the Heart and Uterus are believed to have a special connection.
The Heart is associated not only with circulation, but also with our emotional well-being — how we experience stress, joy, rest, and connection.
This is why, when a woman comes to me with menstrual or reproductive concerns, I don’t look only at her cycle.
I also want to know:
How are you sleeping?
How stressed do you feel?
Do you have enough energy?
How are you nourishing yourself?
Do you have space for rest and joy?
Stress and emotions are not the cause of every menstrual or fertility issue. But they are part of the bigger picture of our health.
Acupuncture, breathing, gentle movement, nourishing food, and appropriate herbal support can all be part of an individualized approach.
And one simple reminder I love from Traditional Eastern Medicine:
Make space for joy.
Your health is more than one symptom or one organ. I always want to understand and support the whole person.
