⚠️ DON’T MIX ORS WRONG! 💧
Did you know that mixing ORS with the wrong amount of water can actually make diarrhea worse?
It’s not just about giving the medicine; it’s about the dilution. 🧪
📏 THE GOLDEN RATIO:
1 Packet ORS + 1 Liter of Clean Water
❌ Why you shouldn’t “guess”:
• Too much water: It won’t be absorbed. It just washes away, and the diarrhea continues.
• Too little water: This is dangerous! It pulls water out of your child’s cells and into the gut, causing more vomiting and severe dehydration.
Remember: 5 small 200ml packets = 1 Liter. 1 large packet = 1 Liter.
Always measure your water first! 🛑
