Did you know? Your everyday habits may silently increase the risk of Hernia.
Hernia happens when the muscles of the abdominal wall become weak and an internal organ starts pushing outward. While it may seem sudden, the body often gives warning signs slowly over time.
Some common risk factors include:
• Lifting heavy weights incorrectly
• Chronic constipation and excessive straining
• Obesity and increased abdominal pressure
• Smoking and persistent coughing
• Weak core muscles and sedentary lifestyle
The good news is that simple lifestyle changes can help reduce the risk significantly. Maintaining a healthy weight, eating a fiber-rich diet, staying active, avoiding smoking, and strengthening your core muscles can make a big difference.
Don’t ignore early symptoms like swelling, heaviness, or discomfort in the abdomen or groin area. Early diagnosis and timely treatment can prevent complications.
Prevention starts with small daily habits. Your body gives signals—listen to them in time.

Bleeding or pain during bowel movements is a common problem—but the cause may not always be the same.

Two of the most common conditions are A**l Fissures and Piles (Hemorrhoids), and understanding the difference is important for proper treatment.

An a**l fissure is a small tear in the lining of the a**l ca**l, often caused by constipation and passing hard stools. Patients typically experience severe pain during or after bowel movements. Many fissures improve with medications, ointments, dietary changes, and warm sitz baths. However, recurrent or chronic fissures may require a surgical procedure such as Laser Lateral Sphincterotomy, which is considered an effective and long-term treatment option.

Piles (Hemorrhoids), on the other hand, are swollen blood vessels in the a**l region. Common symptoms include:
• Bright red bleeding during or after bowel movements
• Feeling or noticing piles around the a**l opening
• Discomfort or irritation in the affected area

When conservative treatment is not sufficient, surgical intervention may be recommended depending on the severity of the condition.

The good news is that many modern procedures for fissures and piles are minimally invasive and can often be performed as day-care procedures, allowing patients to return home the same day.

If you are experiencing pain, bleeding, or discomfort during bowel movements, don't ignore the symptoms. Early evaluation can help identify the cause and ensure timely treatment.

This World Environment Day, let's remember that our health is deeply connected to the environment around us.
We often focus on healthy food, exercise, and regular health checkups, but the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the surroundings we live in also play a major role in our well-being.
Rising pollution, increasing heat waves, and shrinking green spaces are not just environmental concerns—they are important health challenges too.
Small actions can make a big difference:
• Plant a tree
• Reduce plastic use
• Save water
• Keep your surroundings clean
Protecting the environment is also an investment in better health for ourselves and future generations.
This World Environment Day, take a simple pledge:
Start one positive change for your health and for our planet.
Because a healthier environment means a healthier life.

Open vs Laparoscopic vs Robotic Surgery for Gall Bladder Removal — what’s the difference?

Open surgery uses a larger incision. Laparoscopic surgery uses small keyhole cuts. Robotic surgery adds enhanced precision, better visualization, and greater surgical control.

The right approach depends on your condition, medical history, and your surgeon’s recommendation.

Some journeys in medicine are far beyond surgeries, hospitals, or generations — they are built on trust, blessings, and human relationships.
Today my heart feels deeply emotional and grateful. A family from Bhilwara, Rajasthan, who had once trusted my parents for their treatment years ago, travelled all the way again to place their faith in the next generation of our family.
Moments like these remind me that medicine is not just a profession… it is a legacy of compassion, honesty, service, and human connection passed from one generation to another. 🙏
I bow my head in gratitude to my parents for building this immense trust through their dedication and selfless care. Their blessings and values continue to guide us every single day.
I am equally thankful to Almighty God for continuously sending patients who place their faith in our hands. There can be no bigger blessing for a doctor than the love, trust, and prayers of patients and their families.
May we always remain worthy of this trust, continue to serve humanity with sincerity, and keep healing lives with compassion and humility.
