Seed cycling is a holistic approach that uses the power of seeds to help balance hormones throughout the menstrual cycle 🔄
The idea is to eat specific seeds during different phases of your cycle to support hormonal health 🧘♀️
🌸MENSTRUAL PHASE🌸
During the menstrual phase of your cycle, which is from day 1 to day 5, incorporating pumpkin seeds & flax seeds can be really beneficial. Have 1 tablespoon each everyday, these work to improve estrogen to progestrone ratio 🌱
🌸FOLLICULAR PHASE🌸
Next comes the follicular phase, pumpkin seeds & flax seeds are usefull for this phase as well.
Consume 1 tablespoon each everyday, from the day your period ends until OVULATION- 7 to 10
days. Helps to improve formation of corpus luteum necessary for ovulation 🌱
🌸OVULATORY PHASE🌸
The day you start ovulating, around the 14th day, eat 1 tablespoon of pumkin seeds & 1 tablespoon of flax seeds, this helps in eliminating excess estrogen🌱
🌸LUTEAL PHASE🌸
The day after ovulation, until the period begin, 10-14 days, have 1 tablespoon sunflower + 1 tablespoon sesame seeds daily🌱
These will support progestrone levels, lower inflamation and reduce the PMS🧚♀️
