Bringing the gift of better vision closer to the community.

As part of Project Disha, a Free Eye Check-up Camp was organised at Detroj in association with the Suman Nirmal Minda Foundation, bringing quality eye care closer to the community.

We were honoured by the gracious presence of Shri Hardikbhai Patel, Hon'ble MLA, Viramgam, whose encouragement added immense value to the initiative.

A total of 161 individuals underwent eye screening. After the examinations, 19 patients were selected for cataract surgery, while 2 patients were referred for further medical evaluation to ensure they receive timely and appropriate care.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Sarpanch of Detroj, the Suman Nirmal Minda Foundation, and everyone who contributed to the successful organisation of this camp. Together, we continue to make quality eye care accessible to those who need it most.

For the past four years, Project DISHA has been reaching those who needed eye care the most, bringing hope to the elderly longing to see their loved ones again, confidence to children eager to learn, and dignity to individuals whose lives were limited by avoidable vision loss.

Behind every screening, every pair of spectacles, and every cataract surgery is a story of renewed hope, restored independence, and a brighter tomorrow.

A greener future begins when young minds learn to care for the world around them. 🌱

On World Environment Day, KD Foundation, in collaboration with Tresna Foundation, engaged 150 underprivileged children at Shaheed Rajendrasinh Kishansinh Chavda Udhyan, Vasana, Ahmedabad, through meaningful activities focused on environmental awareness and action.

From elocution speeches and drawing competitions to a powerful thematic drama on saving trees and a tree plantation drive, every activity encouraged children to become future guardians of our planet.

Supported by KD Official healthcare network, this initiative reflects our commitment to building healthier communities and a healthier environment.

Spreading smiles & wellness

The “Nanhe Yogi Summer Camp”, organised under Project Pankh at the Sarkhej Shwas Foundation Centre, turned into a vibrant celebration of health, happiness, and learning, benefiting 145 enthusiastic children just before their summer break.

The day began on a serene note with a prayer, followed by energising warm-up sessions, yoga postures, and refreshing pranayama, setting the tone for a mindful and active day. To keep the spirit of summer wellness alive, an engaging awareness session educated children on staying healthy and hydrated during the scorching season.

Adding purpose to joy, water bottles and handkerchiefs were distributed, promoting hydration and personal hygiene in a fun and meaningful way.
The energy soared as children danced, laughed, and participated wholeheartedly in exciting activities alongside their friends and teachers. Dressed in cheerful white attire and delighted with colourful gifts, the atmosphere was nothing short of magical.

The event concluded on a delicious note, marked by smiles, new learnings, and unforgettable memories.

A day filled with joy, movement, and mindful habits, truly a perfect start to summer!
