Aaj kal grocery shopping bhi personality test lagti hai 😭
Regular atta ya gluten free?ļæ½Normal bread ya protein bread?ļæ½Ghar ka snack ya ā€œhealthyā€ snack?
And somehow…the more options people have, the more confused they feel.
Health industry is growing fast.ļæ½But so is food anxiety.
Somewhere in between calorie counting, ingredient checking & chasing perfect eating…people forgot that health should feel sustainable too.
Your routine matters.ļæ½Your stress matters.ļæ½Your sleep matters.
Not every meal needs to feel like an exam.

Happy mother's day šŸ’

09/05/2026

I recommend eating 3 balanced meals (350 to 600 calories each) and 1 to 3 snacks per day (between 150 and 200 calories each). The calories for each meal and snack depend on a variety of factors including, height, weight, age, gender and activity level.

The philosophy is to make sure you don’t go longer than 3-3.5 hours or so without eating. After going without food for a prolonged period of time, one get so hungry that they end up choosing any food they can find, including fast food or high-calorie treats.

Downside of eating larger meals and less frequent meals:

* isn’t a good idea for diabetics, as the amount of glucose they get from food should be evenly distributed throughout the day.
* One may not be able to take in all of their essential nutrients in one or two sittings, especially since several vitamins and minerals negate each other in the body.
* eating one or two large meal result in potentially dangerous metabolic consequences. Skipping meals leads to higher blood sugar levels and a delayed insulin response—these are the two conditions that can lead to diabetes if they continue over a long period of time.

Having a small, healthy snack between meals, can curb hunger until the next meal and enables one to make sensible food choices.

ā€œThis might trigger a lot of ā€˜don’t eat raw salad’ peopleā€¦ā€

Remember Some veggies can shift categories depending on gut health, hygiene, and quantity. That said, here’s a practical, science-backed classification you can confidently use šŸ‘‡

🟢 BEST EATEN RAW (retain hydration + enzymes)
These are generally safe raw (with proper washing):
* Kheera (Cucumber)
* Kakdi
* Mooli (Radish)
* Gajar (Carrot – also okay lightly cooked)
* Tamatar (Tomato)
* Capsicum (all colors)
* Lettuce (all types)
* Salad leaves (arugula, rocket)
* Zucchini (tender, thin sliced)
* Spring onion greens
šŸ‘‰ Why raw?ļæ½High water content, easy to digest, minimal anti-nutrients, rich in heat-sensitive vitamins.

🟔 BEST LIGHTLY COOKED (SAUTƉ / STEAM / BLANCH)
These are okay raw in small amounts, but better tolerated cooked:
* Broccoli
* Cauliflower
* Cabbage (patta gobi)
* Beans (French beans)
* Baby corn
* Mushrooms (avoid raw in large amounts)
* Zucchini (regular use better cooked)
šŸ‘‰ Why?
* Improves digestion
* Reduces goitrogens / tough fibers
* Enhances some nutrients (like carotenoids)

šŸ”“ BEST COOKED (avoid raw or limit strongly)
These should ideally not be eaten raw regularly:
* Palak (Spinach)
* Methi leaves
* Bathua
* Sarson
* Beetroot
* Turnip (Shalgam)
* Brinjal (Baingan) (never raw)
šŸ‘‰ Why?
* High oxalates → affect mineral absorption
* Can cause bloating / irritation raw
* Cooking reduces anti-nutrients + improves safety

šŸ‘‰ It’s NOT just about the vegetable. It’s also about:
* Gut health (IBS / bloating → less raw)
* Hygiene (outside salad ≠ home salad)
* Quantity (raw overload = digestion issues)

Not expensive. Just different.

Most people don’t fail because they don’t know what to eat.ļæ½They fail because consistency breaks when life gets real.
Cravings, emotional eating, starting over —this cycle is costing you more than you realise.
Real fat loss isn’t about another diet plan.ļæ½It’s about building a system you can actually live with.
If you’ve been stuck in the same loop,ļæ½maybe it’s time to look beyond just ā€˜cheap’ solutions

The Protein Palm Rule
šŸ‘‰ Har meal mein ~1 palm protein (~20g)
Yeh dikhta kaisa hai? šŸ‘‡
• Paneer → ~80–100g (1 palm size)• Eggs → ~3 eggs• Dal → ~2 katori (full bowls)• Curd (thick/Greek) → 1 bowl• Chilla → 2 medium (moong/besan, better with paneer)
šŸ‘‰ Mix & match as per your preference

šŸ‘‰ Aging ≠ weakness
šŸ‘‰ Often it’s chronic low protein intake
Because healthy aging is not automatic — it’s nutritional.
Save this & share with your parents ā¤ļø

STOP pouring your oil! šŸ›‘šŸ§“
If you’re just ā€œguessingā€ how much oil and ghee to use, you’re likely overdoing it. Here is the exact science-based math for your daily fat intake:
āœ… The Daily Goal: 15ml to 20ml per person.
āœ… The Monthly Math: That’s only 500ml to 600ml (half a litre) per person, per month!
If you are a family of 4, a 2-litre bottle of oil should last you the ENTIRE month. If you’re finishing it sooner, it’s time to switch from ā€œpouringā€ to ā€œspooning.ā€ šŸ„„
Why these numbers matter:
1ļøāƒ£ Heart Health: High oil consumption is linked to cholesterol issues.
2ļøāƒ£ Weight Management: Just 1 tbsp of oil is ~120 calories! 😱
3ļøāƒ£ Ghee Benefits: Use 1-2 tsp of Ghee within this limit for better digestion and skin health.
Pro-Tip: Don’t cut out fats entirely—your body needs them to absorb Vitamins A, D, E, and K. Just stick to the 0.5 Litre Rule! 🧈✨
How many litres of oil does your family use in a month? Let’s talk in the comments! šŸ‘‡

Nutrition rarely works in extremes.

It’s not about removing something completely or blindly adding what’s considered ā€˜healthy’.
It’s about understanding what your body is already getting in excess and what it is missing.
That awareness alone can change your results.
If you’re trying but not seeing outcomes, there’s usually a gap worth addressing.

Comment or DM ā€˜FAT’ if you want me to review your diet pattern.

Just comment / DM ā€œPLANā€. No shortcuts just structure šŸ˜‡ ...
