Absolutely. Since the VO already tells the story, the caption should add a different layer rather than repeat it.

44 feels like a good age to stop waiting for a reason to take care of yourself.

Not because something is wrong.
Not because a birthday suddenly makes health important.

Just because you’ve lived enough to know that your body deserves your attention too.

So this year, I chose something simple: a little more awareness, a little more responsibility, and a better understanding of what’s happening inside.

Here’s to 44, and to growing older with more intention. 🤍

“Stop eating rice.”
“Roti is making you fat.”
“Try quinoa instead.”

Raise your hand if someone has said this to you. A friend. A gym trainer. A random Instagram page.

I’ve had patients walk into my clinic feeling guilty about eating dal chawal. Guilty. About one of the most balanced meals in Indian food.

We’ve reached a point where our own kitchen feels like the enemy. Where every meal needs to be “clean” otherwise it doesn’t count. Where eating a paratha on Sunday feels like cheating.

Nobody is getting diabetes because of rajma chawal. People are getting diabetes because of what they eat between meals, how much they eat at one go, and how little they move after.

And no, the answer is not replacing everything with salad. I’ve had patients whose previous dietitians put them on salads for lunch and dinner. They lasted 4 days. Of course they did. You can’t sustain a diet you don’t enjoy.

I’ve added ice cream to patient diet plans. Actual ice cream. Because when someone knows they’re allowed to enjoy food, they stop bingeing on it. That’s nutrition. Not restriction.

I built my practice around one idea. Work with your food, not against it. Understand it. Respect it. Stop letting the internet make you afraid of your own kitchen.

Your thali was never the problem. It was always the answer. You just need someone to show you how to use it right.

If you’ve been jumping from diet to diet and nothing has stuck, maybe the problem isn’t your discipline. Maybe it’s the approach. DM me or book a consultation from the link in bio.

Everyone has that one friend who switched to sourdough and now acts like they’ve unlocked the secret to health. “It’s fermented.” “It’s better for your gut.” “I only eat sourdough now.”

Respectfully, check the back of your loaf first.

I checked every sourdough packet across 3 supermarkets last week. Not one was actual sourdough. Every single one had added yeast, refined flour, sugar, and preservatives. Regular bread in a more expensive bag.

Real sourdough has 3 ingredients. Flour. Water. Salt. The rise comes from natural fermentation over 12 to 24 hours. If your ingredient list is longer than one line, it’s not what you think.

I’m not saying don’t eat bread. I’m saying if you’re paying 2x because you think it’s healthier, make sure you’re getting what you’re paying for.

Quick test for your next grocery run. Pick up the loaf. Flip it. More than 4 ingredients? Put it back. Added yeast listed? Not real sourdough. Shelf life longer than a week? Preservatives are doing the work, not fermentation.

Go check your kitchen shelf right now. Flip whatever packet is sitting there. Tell me in the comments what you found.

This isn’t about scaring you away from bread. Bread is fine. It’s about reminding you that health decisions shouldn’t come from the front of a packet or a trending reel. They come from reading, asking, and understanding what’s going into your body. That’s all nutrition is. Not rules. Not trends. Just understanding.

Save this. Send it to someone who just bought their first sourdough loaf this week.

Hopping on the “kinda chic” trend, but in our own manner.

Every day, patients walk in assuming healthy eating means giving something up, their favourite meal, their evening chai, even the occasional scoop of ice cream. Years of practice have shown a different truth: sustainable health isn’t built on restriction, it’s built on balance.

That’s the philosophy behind every plan here, no food labelled “good” or “bad,” no guilt attached to enjoying a meal, and no one-size-fits-all diet copied from the internet. Just real, practical nutrition guidance shaped around how people actually live and eat.

If you’ve been looking for an approach to health that doesn’t feel like punishment, you’re in the right place.

🥗 Protein doesn’t always need a “HIGH PROTEIN” label! 💪✨

Before reaching for protein biscuits, chips or drinks, take a look at the simple foods already in your kitchen. 🏠🍽️

🥛 Paneer / Greek Yogurt / Curd
🥚 Eggs
🌱 Dal & Pulses
🫘 Tofu / Soy Chunks

These everyday foods can be nutritious, versatile and protein-rich—without the marketing hype. 💚

👉 Protein products can be convenient, but they’re not always necessary. Choose smart, eat balanced! 🌿

🚨 Is your obsession with HIGH PROTEIN making your diet worse? 🤯🥛🍪

Today, almost everything comes with a “High Protein” label — protein atta, bread, biscuits, chips, pasta, coffee, drinks and more! 💪

But here’s the truth 👇
❌ More protein doesn’t automatically mean a better diet.

Protein is important, but your body also needs:
🥗 Fibre
🥦 Micronutrients
🌈 Food variety
📋 Good-quality ingredients
🍽️ Balanced meals

A protein product can be a useful swap — but it shouldn’t always replace real, wholesome food like a balanced meal, paneer, pulses, vegetables and other nutrient-rich foods.

So next time you see “HIGH PROTEIN” on a packet, don’t just ask:
“How much protein does it have?” 🤔

Ask yourself:
👉 “What else am I getting with it?”

💬 Comment “PROTEIN” and I’ll help you with healthy protein swaps!
