And comment your question related to fasting 👇

What can intermittent fasting actually do for you?

When done appropriately, intermittent fasting may help with:
✨ Weight management
✨ Better blood sugar control
✨ Improved insulin sensitivity
✨ Reduced overall calorie intake
✨ Some cardiometabolic health markers

Who may benefit?

Generally healthy adults who find a fasting schedule sustainable and compatible with their lifestyle may benefit from intermittent fasting—especially when it helps them maintain a balanced diet and healthy calorie intake.

⚠️ Remember: Fasting isn't a miracle cure, and longer fasting isn't necessarily better. It's a tool that may work for some people, but not everyone.

If you have a medical condition, are pregnant/breastfeeding, are underweight, have a history of eating disorders, or take medications that require food, seek professional guidance before fasting.

🌿 Fast smart. Don't fast blindly.

🌱 Can pumpkin seeds help with nighttime urination?

Research suggests pumpkin seeds or pumpkin-seed extracts may help improve urinary symptoms in men with BPH (enlarged prostate).
🔹 Some studies have found a reduction in nighttime urination.
🔹 A 3-month study reported a decrease of about 0.56 nighttime urinations per night on average.
🔹 A longer study using 5 g of pumpkin seeds twice daily found improvements in urinary flow and quality of life.
🔹 But more research is still needed.

⚠️ Important: The viral claim that pumpkin seeds reduce nighttime urination by 40% is not supported by the evidence.

Pumpkin seeds can be a nutritious addition to your diet, but they shouldn't be considered a treatment or cure for BPH.

If you're not following us, you may never see us again
But if you do, congratulations — you're getting healthier every day! 💚

🥤 Protein shakes & your kidneys — what’s actually true?
You may have seen the viral claim that one scoop of protein causes 480% more kidney damage. There’s no credible evidence supporting that claim.

For most healthy people, an appropriately planned protein intake can be part of a healthy diet. But more protein isn't automatically better.

💡 Smart protein tips: • Choose protein according to your body size, age and activity level.
• Spread protein across your meals instead of trying to get most of it in one shake.
• Whole-food sources can provide protein along with fibre and other nutrients.
• Use protein supplements when they’re actually useful — not simply because they're marketed as “necessary.”
• Stay adequately hydrated, especially if you're physically active.
• If you have kidney disease, speak with your doctor/dietitian before increasing protein intake.

Remember: increased kidney filtration from higher protein intake isn't automatically the same thing as kidney damage.

The Warburg effect is real science — but many social-media posts turn it into claims that the evidence simply doesn’t support.

In this post, I break down 5 important points about: 🧬 Glucose and cancer cells
🫁 Low oxygen and tumor biology
⚡ Mitochondria
🔋 NAD+
⏳ Fasting and cancer research

Most importantly, I’ve separated what we know from what is still being studied.

Cancer is complex, and there is no single food, supplement, fasting routine, or lifestyle hack that can guarantee prevention or cure.

Magnesium is essential for hundreds of processes in your body—but that doesn’t mean every symptom needs a magnesium supplement.

In Part 2, let’s clear up the confusion around magnesium supplements:
✨ Different forms of magnesium
✨ What they’re commonly used for
✨ Why “more magnesium” isn’t always better
✨ When supplementation may actually make sense

And remember: supplements should complement a balanced diet—not replace it.

Save this now for later consideration. 📌

Magnesium is an essential mineral involved in hundreds of processes in the body—including muscle and nerve function, energy production, and normal heart rhythm.

But with magnesium supplements being marketed for almost every symptom, it’s worth asking:
Do you actually need a supplement? 🤔
Before choosing a magnesium supplement, consider your overall diet, intake, individual needs, and the reason you’re taking it. Food sources such as leafy greens, legumes, nuts, seeds and whole grains can contribute meaningful amounts of magnesium.

And remember: more isn’t always better. Supplements can be useful when there’s a genuine need, but they aren’t automatically necessary for everyone.

💬 Have you ever considered taking a magnesium supplement? Tell me why in the comments.

Your gut and brain are in constant conversation. 🧠🦠

But does a low-fiber diet actually cause depression?

Not so fast. 👀

Research involving more than 1,000 people found that certain gut bacteria, including Coprococcus and Dialister, were present at lower levels in people with depression.

But this is an association — not proof that gut bacteria cause depression or that fiber can cure it.

What we do know is that dietary fiber helps nourish many beneficial gut microbes, which can produce compounds such as short-chain fatty acids that interact with the gut, immune system and brain.

🌱 Add more fiber gradually through:
• Lentils & beans
• Vegetables & fruits
• Whole grains
• Nuts & seeds
• Other diverse plant foods

And remember: nutrition can support mental well-being, but it doesn't replace professional treatment, therapy or medication when needed.

Your gut isn't the whole story—but it may be an important part of it. 💚
