It's been 7 years since I started my career in teaching Yoga & Vedic counselling. And 7 is a number that carries meaning in Vedanta.

✨There are 7 planes of existence, Lokas.
✨In the Brahma Sutras, there are 7 sense organs, the 5 Jnanendriyas, Manas & Buddhi.
✨There 7 grahas (planets) each associated to one day of the week.
✨ Surya, the Sun God, rides a chariot pulled by 7 horses representing the 7 rays of sun and 7 colours.
✨ In the subtle spine, there are 7 main Chakras.
✨ Brahma created 7 ancient sages from his mind, the Saptarishis.
✨There are 7 basic notes in classical Indian music.
✨In Ayurveda there are 7 dhatus, tissues.

And the list goes on...

Number 7 encapsulates a holistic view of life, encompassing spirituality, humanity and the cosmos.

7 years ago I travelled to India for the first time to take on a 500h YTT in Rishikesh, and then I travelled solo (for the first time on another continent) for 3 months.

It was in the hills of Uttarakhand and the peaks of the Himalayas that I found myself, and discovered the feeling of being at home. Arrived. Settled. Content.

This is a feeling I rarely experience otherwise in my day to day life, but I learned to live with it.

For 7 years I didn't return to India. I tried, but something always intervened. Eventually I gave up trying, and told myself that I will return when the time is right, and tried to reconstruct the feeling of home where I was.

In the meantime I met my husband, who comes from India. We fell in love, because we were brought together by devotion.

This year, after 7 years I returned to India. The hills and the mountains called me, finally, and I went back eager to answer the call.

As I reached the 7 years threshold, I understood what sits at the core of my work in the world.

It's not my knowledge, it's my devotion.

I thought Yoga would become a job, but it turned into a way of life.

It taught me what it means to live in rhythm with cosmology, balancing the physical with the subtle, and connecting the material with the esoteric.

I am good at what I do not because I dedicated the past 7 years to in depth study, but because I learned how to live what I studied. Mystical turned practical.

And this is my work in the world. If you feel called to work & study with me, I am preparing a container using my unique framework to support you in living a harmonius & purposeful life.

Follow along if you are ready for this.

With devotion,

You guessed right!

The 3rd Asana I would recommend to everyone to take on a regular basis is Shavasana - Co**se pose.

It's a good death practice 🤭

But seriously, this Asana has so many benefits that I wouldn't be able to enumerate them all in this caption.

Instead I would like to challenge you to take Shavasana every day for 7 days in a row, without any other Asana.

Just Shavasana, on its own.

You can do it in the morning, mid day, evening - whenever you need it or want to do it, but just do it.

See & feel the benefits for yourself.

If you would like to hear the story of Shavasana, I have a YouTube video where I tell the story.

You can find my YouTube channel in the link in the bio or DM me the word story and I'll send the link to you.

And if you want to practice Yoga beyond the mat, then DM the word Guide and I will send you my guide to The Unseable Side of Yoga.

See you for Day 16. Follow along.

There is enough information out there for you to intellectually understand what your body is going through in perimenopause & menopause.

But understanding on an intellectual level is not the same as understanding in an embodied way.

This is where Yoga comes in.

Yoga is not your work out during these transitions, it becomes your ally.

A practice that supports you in letting go of who you once were, and embrace the change of who you are becoming.

This is what I am teaching inside THE Wise Woman Alchemy course.

When you join, we will explore together:
💫 Practices for supporting your nervous system
💫 Asana for deep release & letting go
💫 Pranayama to relieve hot flashes & process anger
💫 Mantra Japa to settle & clear your mind
💫 Nourishment instead of punishment
💫 Reclaiming this transition as an initiation, not decline
💫 Ayurvedic daily routine to create space for your new self
💫 Yoga Nidra to discover the changeless within
💫 Understanding, accepting & loving your body as it is.

And the best part is that we are doing this in community 😍

Because I think this is the missing piece for many women who are silently going through these transitions, alone, with no one to talk to.

🗓️ We start on May 24 with 3 days of Live teachings & practice.

Everything recorded and stored in your exclusive portal, so you can catch up if you miss something and return when you need to.

This is your chance to join the community and the live edition of this course.

A few more spots remain available, so if you are ready to stop feeling like a stranger in your body DM me Alchemy.

This is going to be magical 🔮

The wellness industry is now $7.8 trillion global economy and the demand is growing, with women being the dominant force and the primary target audience.

Your depletion is funding the industry & taking your power away.

The natural biology of a woman's body is attuned to the Earth's cycles, NOT to the demands of a modern patriarchal society.

What is happening in the world as climate change, is a mirror reflection of what is taking place in female bodies.

Instead of understanding the female body as an interconnected system with its own rhythms, modern society has been stripping away, poisoning & destroying the very source of life.

And the wellness industry is making bucks from your depletion.

I don't follow trends, I follow truths.

Trends come and go, while what is true, has always been true and always will be true.

Being educated & informed gives you, your power back, and you can stop relying on outside authority for your own wellbeing.

I built the Wise Woman Alchemy course with this in mind.

My intention has always been transformation through education.

The wisdom of Yoga & Ayurveda is a time tested technology, and inside the course I will take through the changes that happen during Perimenopause & Menopause through the lens of these technologies.

💫You will learn daily rituals & routines that will replenish & nourish you + Yoga practices that will help you get stronger and softer.

🗓️We start on May 24 with 3 days of Live teachings & practicum, all recorded and stored in your exclusive course portal.

🙌🏻When you join the course, you also join a community of women ready to take back ownership over their bodies.

Early Bird price of £105 is available until May 20 and a few spots remain free.

👉🏻 Join with the link in bio or DM the word Alchemy and I'll send you the direct link to secure your spot.

Let's take out power back 💪🏻

Happy New Moon in Ta**us 🌑 This position makes the moon exalted, infusing it with the grounding energy & potential of Ta**us.

Today the Moon becomes dark in the Nakshatra of Krittika. The symbol is a sword, and the ruling deity is Agni, lord of fire.

The word critical in English comes from Krittika, an invitation to apply critical thinking into our actions & intentions. We have the opportunity to gain insight & clarity with precision.

A New Moon is a time for letting go, pause & reset, and this one is perfect for that.

Releasing that which you are ready to let go of by writing it down on a piece of paper (with a sharp object) and then cutting it up & burning the pieces. This small ritual can be highly beneficial on this dark moon.

This New Moon comes just before Shani Jayanti, the "birthday" of Saturn, lord of Karma and before Adhika Masa starts on May 17.

Shani Jayanti falls exactly on a Saturn Day, making this a very auspicious day for doing saturnian things. As the Lord of Karma, Saturn likes it when we perform austerities.

Pause. Reset. Let go. Tend to your responsibilities. Honour your ancestors on your maternal lineage. Dedicate this day to Sadhana & mantra chanting - Om Namah Shivaya or Hanuman Chalisa.

Adhika Masa is an extra month in the Vedic Calendar, which comes every 3-4 years. During this month, it is best to refrain from starting & launching new things in the world.

On the other hand, it is a great time for deepening your spiritual practice, cleaning up your mind, body, garden & your home. Tend to the land, tend to your body.

Any time is a good time, if you know what it is a good time for.

Right now the invitation is to pause, reset & let go.

May you have a blessed New Moon.
