But there is a difference between
correcting behavior
and crushing identity.
“Tune effort kam dala” is very different from
“Tumse kuch nahi hoga.”
One addresses the mistake.
The other attacks the person.
A result should never become a child’s lifelong identity.
You can be upset.
You can hold them accountable.
You can talk about distractions, consistency, discipline, and choices.
But humiliation does not create growth.
It creates shame.
Poor effort needs correction,
not emotional damage.
Correct the effort.
Protect the relationship.
