We are immensely proud and grateful to share our space in the social welfare sector, twin designers Vishal Chand and Abhimanyu Rattan Mehra, has been featured in Robb Report India.

Our journey with social impact installations began almost by chance with J-PAL . From there, it grew into deeply moving collaborations with SEWA .delhi and Breakthrough - stepping into the world of spatial design to translate years of critical fieldwork into visceral, visual realities.

Working alongside these organizations to bring forward the lives they impact and the change they create on the ground has been an incredibly enriching experience. The decades of devotion these NGOs have given to the communities reinstated two irreplaceable lessons that we carry to everything we create: consistency and authenticity.

Thank you to the incredible team at Robb Report India for stepping into our world, and to .mishra for speaking about it so beautifully.

When we, at The Twin Seduction, conceived EK SHAAM - Vamsagata we couldn’t see it anywhere else but at Ranjit’s SVAASA.

We imagined a space which was home, where the traditions and culture of the past could come forward and be celebrated, where time would gently flow as a circle of familiar faces as well as new friends come together as one.

What actually happened in the aangan surpassed every expectation and feeling. From the moment the lights were switched on, the candles were lit, the cushions were placed and the throws were laid... that familiar feeling of our family baithaks arose. As guests stepped in with smiles on their faces and a joy in their hearts, we just knew...

Charda Panjab .official struck the first chord and the courtyard filled with a magic all its own, like it knew, like it had always been waiting for this.

Thank you to everyone who came from across India and overseas, who brought their energy, and who created an evening we’ll keep close to our hearts for a long time.

Seven generations of family stories, Amritsari flavours, and rooms that breathe history at Ranjit's SVAASA

Before it became a living room, this was the space where the haveli gathered.

Once the dining room, it was filled with long family meals and the comforting presence of Ami Chand, the household chef who served the family for over seventy years. Known for his Amritsari stuffed parathas and his gentle nature, he would often carry the dishes out himself, walking them to the table with quiet pride.

Today, the room holds that warmth in another form… a piano in the corner, old carpets underfoot, art lining the walls, a welcoming seating area, and a fireplace that anchors the room in its colonial past.

A space that continues to bring people together, just as it always has.
