*Day 5 of the Orientation Program – A Day of Learning, Growth & New Perspectives!*

Day 5 of the Orientation Program was filled with insightful, engaging, and practical sessions designed to help students develop the right mindset, skills, and knowledge for their academic and professional journey.
The morning session began with an insightful session by our esteemed *Guest Speaker, Mr. R.S. Chattha – Lead District Manager, PNB*, on *“Career Guidance and Financial Management.”* He encouraged students to turn their dreams into reality through observation, learning from the journeys of successful personalities, and thoughtful career planning. He also highlighted the importance of financial literacy and introduced various banking schemes available to support students in their educational pursuits.
The session was followed by engaging and motivating talks by distinguished speakers:
* *Dr. Arvind Dewangan – “Dream Big, Learn Smart & Build Your Future”*
Inspired students to develop a clear vision, set meaningful goals, manage time effectively, and adopt a growth mindset. He encouraged students to view challenges and failures as opportunities to learn, improve, and grow.
* *Prof. Bharti Kapoor Vij – “Thriving in the Digital Generation”*
Highlighted the opportunities offered by the digital and creator economy. She emphasised the importance of knowledge, skills, discipline, consistency, and a positive attitude, while encouraging students to use technology and digital tools wisely and responsibly.
* *Er. Tejinderdeep Singh – HOD, CSE – “AI for Everyone”*
Introduced students to the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in everyday life and explored applications such as Google, Google Maps, Instagram, Netflix, and ChatGPT. He also discussed Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, AI tools, and the importance of using AI effectively and responsibly.
* *Prof. S.K. Arora – “Personality in Professional and Personal Life”*
Emphasised the importance of confidence, positivity, effective communication, discipline, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills in achieving both professional success and healthy personal relationships.
Overall, Day 5 was a highly informative and enriching experience that equipped students with valuable insights into career planning, financial management, digital skills, Artificial Intelligence, personality development, and a growth-oriented mindset. The sessions encouraged students to dream big, learn continuously, use technology responsibly, and prepare themselves for future professional challenges.
On the concluding day, *Dr. Maninderjit Kaur, HOD, ASH*, and *Er. Raghu Kanojia, Coordinator, B.Sc CyberSecurity* expressed heartfelt gratitude to all faculty members for their valuable support and contribution to the successful Orientation Program and encouraged students to carry forward the learning, confidence, and positive attitude gained throughout the program as they begin their academic journey.
