Alzheimer's disease aka. (Senile dementia) is a progressive disease that destroys memory and other important mental functions.

Brain cell connections and the cells themselves degenerate and die, eventually destroying memory and other important mental functions.

Psychotic, memory loss are main symptoms of the disease.

No cure exists, but medication and management strategies may temporarily improve symptoms.

The appendix sits in the lower right abdomen. The function of the appendix is unknown.
