What looks simple… is actually one of the most commonly used Ayurvedic therapies for knee pain and stiffness.

Janu Basti involves retaining warm medicated oil over the knee joint for a specific period of time.

The warmth and medicated oil help nourish the joint area, improve circulation, reduce stiffness, and support easier movement.

It is commonly used in conditions like:
knee pain, osteoarthritis, stiffness, cracking sounds in the knees, discomfort while walking, and difficulty climbing stairs.

But the treatment is not the same for everyone.

The type of oil…
the temperature…
and the duration…
all are selected based on the person’s condition and stage of the problem.

Many people notice that their knees feel lighter, more flexible, and more comfortable after the treatment.

And for better long-term results,
Janu Basti is often combined with internal medicines, exercises, lifestyle changes, and other Ayurvedic therapies.

Because lasting relief comes not just from treating the pain…
but from supporting the joint as a whole.

This lady came to us with knee pain, stiffness, difficulty bending the knees, and discomfort while moving.

Even simple movements were becoming difficult for her.
She would feel pain, heaviness, and stiffness around the joints.

As part of her treatment,
we advised Janu Vasti along with supportive Ayurvedic care.

Janu Vasti is an Ayurvedic therapy where warm medicated oil is retained over the knee joint for a specific period of time.

The warmth and medicated oil help nourish the joint,
reduce stiffness,
improve circulation,
and support better mobility in the knees.

Over time,
this can help reduce pain, improve flexibility, and make movement more comfortable.

Along with the treatment,
she was also guided on weight management, muscle strengthening, circulation support, and regular exercises —
because long-term improvement depends not just on therapies, but also on daily movement and lifestyle correction.

Gradually,
she started noticing significant improvement.

The pain reduced,
the heaviness reduced,
she was able to bend the knees better,
and even her sleep became more comfortable.

This is what happens when the focus is not just temporary pain relief…
but proper joint nourishment and long-term support.

This patient came to us for fertility-related concerns and emotional stress around conception.

As part of her treatment journey,
one of the therapies advised was Nabhi Vasti.

In Ayurveda, the lower abdomen is closely connected to Apana Vata -
the energy responsible for fertilization, pregnancy, and postpartum functions.

The purpose of Nabhi Vasti is to help calm and align this Apana Vata,
support relaxation in the abdominal region,
and nourish the body as part of a broader fertility-supportive approach.

Along with therapies like this,
the treatment also focuses on digestion, stress, sleep, lifestyle, nutrition, hormonal balance, and overall reproductive health.

Because fertility is not just a physical journey…
mental stress, overthinking, and emotional burden also affect the body deeply.

That’s why the approach is always holistic and personalized,
with the goal of supporting the body naturally, step by step.

Hair fall is not always just about changing shampoos or taking supplements.
Sometimes the real issue is deeper — poor scalp circulation, inflammation, chemical damage, stress, and inactive hair follicles.

In this case, the patient was experiencing severe diffuse hair loss and patchy hair fall.
So an Ayurvedic Pracchanna Karma treatment was done on the affected scalp area.

In this treatment, very fine pricks are made on the scalp to improve local circulation and help clear stagnant and impure blood from the area.
This helps stimulate the hair follicles and also improves the absorption of Ayurvedic therapies and medicines.

After the treatment, an Ayurvedic herbal lepa (medicated paste) was applied on the scalp to help calm inflammation, support healing, and nourish the scalp naturally.

This treatment may be helpful in cases like:
• Diffuse hair loss
• Patchy hair fall
• Hair thinning after straightening or chemical treatments
• Poor scalp circulation
• Stress-related hair fall
• Weak hair roots and early thinning

Along with the treatment, internal medicines, hair oil application, diet, sleep, stress management, and lifestyle correction also play a very important role in long-term results.

At Pranaa Integrated Ayurveda Health Center, treatments are always planned based on the root cause — not just the symptom.

What looks like a simple powder massage… is actually a traditional Ayurvedic therapy designed to reduce heaviness and support better body movement.

Udwartana uses dry herbal powders with a specific massage technique to help improve circulation, reduce stiffness, and make the body feel lighter and more active.

Unlike oil-based massages…
this treatment focuses more on reducing excess Kapha and sluggishness in the body.

Many people feel fresh, energetic, and lighter after the therapy.

But it’s not just about applying powders.

The herbs used…
the pressure…
and the duration…
all are personalized based on the person’s body type and condition.

And for better long-term results…
it is often combined with proper diet, lifestyle changes, and other Ayurvedic support.

What looks relaxing… is actually a deeply calming Ayurvedic therapy for the mind and nervous system.

Shirodhara uses a continuous flow of warm medicated oil over the forehead to help calm stress, reduce mental restlessness, and support better sleep.

But it’s not just about pouring oil.

The type of oil…
the temperature…
the flow…
and the duration…
all are personalized based on the person’s condition and body type.

Real healing happens when the treatment is done the right way.

One of the biggest reasons people feel Ayurveda “doesn’t work”…
is self-medication.

Two people may have the same problem…
but the root cause inside the body can be completely different.

One person may have dryness and Vata imbalance…
another may have inflammation…
someone else may have poor digestion or disturbed sleep affecting the whole body.

That’s why the medicine also changes.

Some Ayurvedic medicines are very potent…
some are not meant for long-term use…
and some should not be taken during pregnancy or with certain medical conditions.

Wrong combinations can even worsen the condition.

That’s why Ayurveda should never be copied from reels or comment sections.

Real Ayurvedic treatment is always personalized.

This 12th-grade student came to us with severe acne all over her face.

The acne were deep, inflamed, and spread across almost the entire skin surface.
She had already tried multiple creams and conventional acne treatments like salicylic acid and benzoyl-based applications.

Initially, those products gave some relief…
but the moment she stopped using them, the acne would come back again within days.

Since she was in her teenage years, the hormonal changes in the body were playing a major role.
On deeper evaluation, we identified her body type as predominantly Pitta Prakriti with Rakta Dushti — which in Ayurveda is associated with excess heat and blood-related imbalance showing up through the skin.

So instead of only suppressing the acne externally…
the focus was on calming Pitta, purifying the blood, and reducing internal inflammation.

She was started on internal Ayurvedic medicines along with external herbal applications specially selected for her condition.

Gradually, over the next few months, the inflammation started reducing.
The acne eruptions became less aggressive, redness reduced, and the skin slowly started clearing.

It took around 6 months of consistent treatment and lifestyle correction…
but now her skin is almost clear and the acne are no longer recurring like before.

This is what happens when treatment focuses on the root imbalance, not just the surface symptoms.

This 58-year-old lady came to us with severe pain and stiffness in both knee joints.

Even simple movements had become difficult for her.
Walking, climbing stairs, sitting for long… everything was painful.

She had already been advised knee replacement surgery.
But she wanted to first try a more natural and supportive approach before going ahead with surgery.

In Ayurveda, this condition is commonly understood as Sandhigata Vata —
where increased Vata causes dryness, loss of lubrication, stiffness, cracking sounds, and pain in the joints.

So instead of focusing only on pain relief…
we focused on improving joint nourishment and mobility.

She was started on internal Ayurvedic medicines along with Panchakarma therapies like Patra Potli Sweda and a special Upanaha treatment for the knees.

These therapies help improve circulation around the joint, reduce stiffness, support lubrication, and make movement easier over time.

And interestingly…
she already started feeling lighter and more comfortable by one week of treatment
