A pharmacist is a bridge between doctors and patients who counsel and advice patients to maximize the desired effect of drugs and minimize the untoward/adverse effects of drugs.
The basic duty of a pharmacist is to check prescriptions from physicians before dispensing medicines to patients thus ensuring that the patients do not receive

Dispensing the wrong drugs or giving incorrect usage instructions can have serious consequences for patients, including death.

Having diabetes has been associated with a lot of mental distress that shares traits of stress such as depression and anxiety. A study that analyzed 588408 records from the United Kingdom showed that the risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus was higher in people with severe mental illness. This relative risk of type 2 diabetes was higher in the younger population.
