One Step at a Time is a non profit that works towards transforming lives of people with disabilities and attitudes towards disability in India. Disability results from the interaction between persons with impairments, and attitudinal and environmental barriers that hinders their full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others. We believe that an attitude of empathy and un

derstanding towards disability, is required than that of sympathy and pity. This will help society become more accepting of PWDs. At One Step at a Time, we are working to bring about change that results in true social inclusion of people with disabilities in the society and enable them to live to their best potential.
