Bhagavad Geeta Study Group, Whitefield Weekly knowledge sessions to discuss insights on practical knowledge from Geeta and Upanishads Our instructor is Hari. We also end with a short meditation.

We usually start with a short meditation, followed by reciting of "Geeta Dhyana". This is not strictly sloka by sloka summary. Hari will speak in general about what we should learn from the Geeta, What are the traits of each of the characters in Mahabharata etc. How does western management theory uses Geeta and why they use only superficial knowledge from it etc. In parallel to this there is a cla

ss for small kids, where they are taught stories from puranas and some other hymns. In between we will have external speakers to tell us more about some other topics. Once we had Dr Kamala Unnikrshnan speak about the virtues required for a student in any subject

As parents, we constantly have high expectations for our kids, including their academic success, social skills, courage, happiness, emotional strength, and more. We want our children to behave well, be emotionally strong, handle situations carefully, be independent, so on and so forth. The list is extensive and frequently so illegible that we have no idea where to begin or how to proceed. Can we nurture these qualities in our children? It is very much possible and doable.
