From delayed diagnosis to social stigma and limited access to specialized care, patients in India face several challenges that can impact their quality of life. However, with increased awareness and timely medical intervention, we can significantly improve outcomes and help individuals lead more independent and dignified lives.

Early signs should never be ignored. Awareness is the first step toward better care.

Mental calm isn’t just a feeling—it’s a function of a healthy brain. 🧠

Modern neuroscience shows that meditation can positively influence key brain regions responsible for attention, emotional regulation, memory, and stress response. By strengthening the prefrontal cortex, calming the amygdala, and supporting the hippocampus, meditation helps the brain respond better to everyday pressures.

As a neurologist, I see how chronic stress contributes to headaches, anxiety, poor sleep, and reduced focus. While meditation is not a replacement for medical treatment, it serves as a valuable complementary practice that supports overall brain health and emotional balance.

This World Meditation Day, take a few minutes to pause, breathe, and invest in your brain’s well-being.
