Innovation comes alive when technology meets hands-on learning.

At iPCI 2026, Veiva Scientific's Training Village served as an interactive platform where physicians explored some of the most transformative technologies shaping the future of cardiovascular interventions.
Participants had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with:

🔹 Makoto™ IVUS + NIRS Imaging System by NIPRO Corporation - Global - enabling advanced vessel assessment, plaque characterization, and imaging-guided PCI.

🔹 Impella® by Johnson & Johnson MedTech - providing insights into percutaneous mechanical circulatory support and its role in complex high-risk interventions.

The demonstrations facilitated meaningful discussions, and knowledge exchange, helping clinicians bridge the gap between technology and real-world application.

A heartfelt thank you to all the physicians, faculty, and partners who visited the Training Village and contributed to making it a vibrant hub of learning throughout the conference.

In collaboration with NIPRO Corporation, Veiva Scientific was proud to host the IVUS + NIRS Training Village Sessions led by Dr. D. S. Chadha, bringing together interventional cardiologists for an engaging exchange of knowledge and real-world experience.

The sessions explored the evolving role of IVUS + NIRS with AI-powered Smart Imaging in plaque characterization and PCI optimization, highlighting how advanced imaging can support informed decision-making in complex coronary interventions.

Following a successful Laser & NIRS Workshop featuring challenging calcified coronary cases and insightful clinical discussions, the scientific momentum continued with an engaging symposium attended by 45+ interventional cardiologists from across the city.

A key highlight of the event was the expert insights shared by Prof. Wacinski on the evolving role of laser atherectomy in complex coronary interventions, complemented by discussions on contemporary approaches to plaque modification and imaging-guided PCI.

Conducted in collaboration with the Philips team, the symposium provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, clinical experience exchange, and discussions on emerging technologies that are shaping the future of interventional cardiology.

Veiva Scientific was proud to host an engaging Industry Symposium at IJCTO 2026, bringing together experts to discuss two critical pillars of modern complex PCI - plaque modification and intravascular imaging.

The session featured real-world case studies highlighting the challenges of treating calcific CTO lesions and the importance of effective lesion preparation for procedural success.

Discussions also focused on the growing role of HD IVUS NIRS in complex PCI, demonstrating how advanced imaging can support accurate lesion assessment, vessel sizing, treatment planning, and stent optimization.

The exchange of clinical experiences and practical insights reinforced the value of combining innovative plaque modification technologies with imaging-guided interventions to achieve greater procedural precision and improved patient outcomes.
