🧠 YOUR BRAIN EATS WHAT YOU EAT. 🌿
In Ayurveda, food is more than nourishment—it can influence the body, mind and consciousness.
A fresh, wholesome, predominantly plant-based diet is traditionally associated with Sattva—clarity, calmness and balance.
🥬 Fresh vegetables & leafy greens
🍎 Seasonal fruits
🌾 Whole grains & millets
🫘 Dal, pulses & legumes
🥜 Nuts & seeds
🌿 Fresh, natural foods prepared with awareness
Ayurveda also encourages moderation with foods that are heavy, stale, excessively processed or difficult to digest.
This doesn't mean that non-vegetarian food is automatically “bad.” Quality, quantity, preparation, digestion and individual constitution matter.
But when your goal is mental clarity, emotional balance and a calmer mind, what you put on your plate matters.
And when it comes to depression or anxiety, nutrition can be supportive—but it is not a replacement for professional mental-health care.
🧘♂️ Nourish the body. Feed the brain. Calm the mind.
