A patient recently visited our clinic with a common yet serious dental issue—"heavy calculus (tartar) buildup on the backside of the lower front teeth". Unfortunately, this had already started causing **bone loss and tooth mobility**.

When tartar isn't cleaned regularly, it hardens and pushes under the gums. This causes the gums to pull away and the bone supporting your teeth to slowly break down. Over time, this leads to **loose teeth** and even **tooth loss** if not treated in time.

* A full-mouth professional cleaning (oral prophylaxis) was done using **ultrasonic scaling** to remove all the tartar.
* To stabilize the loose teeth and give the bone a chance to heal, we placed a **fiber splint on the inner (lingual) side** of the lower front teeth.
* The patient was guided on **proper brushing and oral hygiene techniques** and scheduled for regular **follow-up visits**.
