Smeep Kang Thank you for your candid post. Hope it helps take the stigma away from talking about mental health. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I Fought It..So Can You.
Depression is something many people carry silently. It doesn’t always look like sadness. Sometimes it looks like exhaustion, like losing interest in things you once loved, like smiling in front of others while fighting battles no one can see.
If you’re going through this, I want you to hear one thing clearly: you are not weak, and you are not alone.
Depression lies. It tells you that you’re not enough, that things will never get better, that your story is already written. But the truth is—your story is still unfolding. This moment, as heavy as it feels, is not the end of your journey.
Healing doesn’t happen overnight. It’s not a straight path. Some days you’ll feel okay, and some days you won’t. And that’s okay. Progress isn’t about being perfect—it’s about continuing, even in the smallest ways. Getting out of bed. Taking a bath. Talking to someone. Even breathing through a tough moment—that is strength.
You don’t have to fight everything at once. Start small. One step. One choice. One moment at a time.
And remember this: your existence matters more than your productivity, your achievements, or your darkest thoughts. You are valuable simply because you are here.
Reach out. Speak up. Let someone in—whether it’s a friend, family member, or a professional. You deserve support, and you deserve to be heard.
There is hope—even if you can’t see it right now. Sometimes hope is borrowed from others until you can find your own again.
So hold on. Not forever. Just for today. Just for this moment.
Because even the darkest night eventually gives way to light.
I also went into depression..fought it and came out.So can you.🙏
